Re: 2013 NBA Offseason/Draft
Good move by Ernnie to get Glen Rice Jr. Really nice move.
Folks the teams has really nice young talent. Sux Ariza opted in. But I expect playoffs this year.

![]() Nerlins to Nawlins. I'm a Bulls fan and excited about Tony Snell. He seems to be a Durant-type player, tall and long arms and can hit shots from anywhere. 40% shooter and 47% on pull-up jumpers in college. Solid pick. Their other pick Erik Murphy is no one exciting. Don't understand that one...they're already stocked up at PF, but he can apparently shoot well from the outside as a big man. The Bullets (my second-favorite team) had two GREAT picks with Porter and Rice. If Wall stays healthy, they could be a contender for a playoff spot. Future looking bright. I understand Boston moving away from their "Big 3" days by getting rid of the final two in KG and PP, but they got a ton of old guys back along with the draft picks. They're now locked in to a long-term rebulid and have thrown in the towel for this year already. It makes even less sense for Brooklyn. They unloaded some mediocre vets and picked up two guys at the ends of their career in return...along with losing their draft picks for 3 years. I guess the Nets are going to try to go all in and win this year with no plans for the future. Could work. They'll have a solid roster but it won't last long.

Re: 2013 NBA Offseason/Draft
If they can keep Nene healthy this team has a shot to do some stuff. They need some of their other young guys like Singleton and Seraphin to become decent pieces but a starting 5 with Beal, Wall, Porter, Nene, and Okafor should hold teams near 90 almost every night.

Re: 2013 NBA Offseason/Draft
NBA is not my favorite sport to watch, I'll watch a college basketball game over an NBA game any day of the week. (Except come conference finals and NBA finals time)
I feel like NBA drafts of recent have been similar to this past years NFL draft. Theres a lot of drafts that your lucky if you get a future top 20 NBA player out of it. Its very rare that we get a Durant, LeBron, Wade, Carmelo caliber players. Supposedly next year this Wiggins and the Randle guy and the two brothers going to Kentucky, are supposed to be the next 03 class of players. We'll see. I've watch some of Wiggins highlight tape and saw another Michael Kidd Gilcrest.

Ah, gotcha... Yeah, it seems Philly is throwing caution to the wind with the center position.

^^told you he's bad.
New Orleans Pelicans make offer to Tyreke Evans, according to report - ESPN The Pelicans have lost their mind if they are gong to pay Evans 10mil per season. This guy's stats have dropped over the four years he's been in the league. WTH are they thinking?

Mos def like the Maynor move, SS are you saying Maynor is fugly?
I wouldnt mind the Jamison move, we need to strengthen the bench. Adding a high character vet is nothing but a plus. Just worried at his age having to play serious minutes if Nene or Okafor went down. Jamison starting wouldnt be a good look.

I think Wall wanted Webster here and he may take a million less than max when it's time to ante up (so it may wash out with the slight discount). |

Re: 2013 NBA Offseason/Draft
Martell Webster is kind of the Rex Grossman of the Wizards. Very few people outside the team facilities understand why he's there, but his teammates love him. That said...with Wall and Beal being so young, it's hard to believe Webster himself is only 26 himself

Re: 2013 NBA Offseason/Draft
I was on the fence with this move, but Id like to see us keep Webster. Think there is growth yet in his game. Seems like a little much, but im good with it.

Re: 2013 NBA Offseason/Draft
I don't watch much basketball (NBA that is) but I got the impression that Martell Webster was just a solid player who turned into one of the few bright spots on such a bad team, that the fans over hyped him and his value.
