Re: Simulating the 2010 Season
i saw this on another site but I do believe our defense could carry us this year. I would prefer our offense too but I'll take a winning season either way.

Re: Simulating the 2010 Season
This is from the article...
Jason Campbell proved that he's still not a very good quarterback, going 16 for 35 for 208 yards, no touchdowns and two picks. Way to show up for the big game, Jason. What a smartass...

Re: Simulating the 2010 Season
So clearly this is a simulation and we're just having fun before we actually see some NFL action. I can't wait!!
BUT -- anyone know how accurate these simulations have been in the past? I mean, what did Madden predict for us over the last couple of years in these simulations? Just curious. |

I google search'ed my own question. It seems that last year they predicted us to go 11-5. It's obvious, but I guess we can't get too excited about these predictions. Madden 2008-9 Predictions vs. Reality Team Simulation Reality Giants 8-8 12-4 Eagles 9-7 9-6-1 Cowboys 13-3 9-7 Redskins 11-5 8-8 I'm still getting excited about this season. As always. Re: Simulating the 2010 Season
Come on guys ...yes it's just a simulation. but every yr at this time our spirits are high, the Skins seem to have made awsome moves, and we have dreams of SB grandure. For the rest of you....please don't pop our bubbles. Allow us glass half full fans to be positive and hopefull. I've had a few yrs of being hopefull and we've gone no where. I've had a few yrs of simply being the negative nanny and not getting my hopes up so I wouldn't be dissapointed. I'll be honest with you either way I was dissapointed. At this time of yr it feels better to simply believe in miracles. Right now all the teams have a chance for the SB at this point. but in my oppinion our chances look better then in the past.

Simply put, that's how I feel. We're actually making some personell changes that make sense and it appears we're headed in the right direction.

Re: Simulating the 2010 Season
In the past some have complained about changing HC's. Some have complained about players coming and going. Some have complained about system changes. All in all excuses for why the team did terrible. I think a lot of us feel this year is different due to all the continuity. Same HC, kept all the key players, and kept the same system. Yes we have questions in some areas but these were the biggest questions every yr and we finally have kept continuity and we still get the "we won't do well this yr" fans with new excuses.
