well as for me..i have a ritual i started 3 weeks ago...i call my 4 year old daughter before 11 am...and get her to say GO REDSKINS! and thus far 3-0 since i have been having her do that. I couldnt call her opening night she was in bed before kickoff....

I have not shaved on Sunday morning since we started our win streak. Also I wash and continue to wear the same Jersey and shorts. Fatigue shorts and a white 21 jersey. Don't think I will be changing the routine yet. Although it will be getting to cold for shorts soon.

This year I'm not doing much really, usually wearing my hat and that's it... i've brought out the hoghead a few times, but this week i just went casual with the hat

I wear a Redskins wrist sweat band and Redskins baseball jersey.(its a little different, but stands out) Neither get washed till we lose.

I wear my Riggins jersey and the wife wears her Redskins lingerie and we f%$# our asses off. And if I bust when shes on top we win. So the theme song around my house on sundays is "ridin dirty". No Im kiddin but you gotta admit that was a good one. I wear the same outfit that I wore to my first Redskins game. Last year the dallas game in December.

So I missed the game today, and when I have to miss a game I usually have Gmanc text me score updates. That's risky, because we don't have the best track record when that happens. But I took a gamble today...and the curse has been broken!

After the loss to NYG, I stopped wearing anything Redskins during a game. After the end of the 1st Qtr today, I threw on my Campbell Jersey to spark the team...I believe it did the trick.
Campbell jersey on from now on. |

I hold a football during the game... I didn't have it for the first quarter... but from the second quarter on I did... I hold the ball when the Skins are on offense and put the ball down on defense.... odd, but it worked... I just have to watch now because my son is an Eagles fan... just to get under my skin... and he told me he's going to burn that football... so I hid it
 .... My wife says I'm pathetic but she just doesn't understand.GO SKINS!!!!

if i happen to miss the start of the game and i tune in and the Skins are winning THEN start losing, i'll change the channel (my reasoning is that they had the EXACT amount of good kharma needed before i turned the game on, thus by turning it off all will be right with the world once again). if i watch from opening kickoff and they start losing (like yesterday when they were down 14-0) i'll turn it off and hope that by not watching it will negate any bad kharma...i also do this with the tarheels....i'll check the score from time to time and if they're making a comeback (like yesterday) i'll just keep it off my set but will check in. wierd i know.....
