I might be drinking the Kool Aid, but I'd still rank Hall as a top 15-17 corner in this league. He's had his ups and downs, yes, but beyond the regular All Pro corners, I'm not convinced that DeAngelo Hall isn't a top 15 corner in this league.

Who here disagrees with that and why?

I've seen stats from these guys that went back to his days in Atlanta and he was still rated just as bad.

Re: Another D.Hall Thread.

I'm on the DHALL bus always have been since the Va Tech days. Call me a homer but I love DHALL. He brings swagger to the team. The FIRST game he played was against Dallas and he made plays including a INT when were a team that couldn't grab a pick to save their lives. CB is one of the toughest positions to stay in the publics favor but that rating is total bs. Seriously he's a top 15 CB, I bet if you polled NFL players he would be vastly different on that scale. Re: Another D.Hall Thread.

DHall aint top 15, 32, or top 64. Maybe 87th or 121st. Didn't like him at Tek, but I don't like vajanyatek anyway. More of an Old Dominion & Florida Gator fan.

Top 15, no. He gambles too much, and just recently his tackling woes resurfaced. I'd put him about average, so I don't agree with the PFF ranking either.

Still give Hall a lot of love for this:

Sigh. You obviously weren't around when I posted just that. And my repeated critiques of Hall.

This case has nothing to do with hindsight. Hall, when on the skins, has always been the inferior of the two.

Swag is great if you can back it up. If you get burnt like toast you just look stupid.

Re: Another D.Hall Thread.

I have to restrain myself on this thread, I think most of you know how I feel about this clown. If he could only cover, tackle which he can't (he thinks he's Deion in his mind)and keep his mouth shut.

Re: Another D.Hall Thread.

I've been saying since DeAngelo Hall became a Redskin that he plays well against 2nd and 3rd rated wide receivers but struggles in coverage against the NFL's elite wideouts. Until this day he hasn't proven me wrong.

Whatever, we agreed on something back in 2009.

hall has good hands so people tend to overrate him. as a corner actually trying to stop the WR from making catches, he's horrible.

Crazy. That's like saying as a project manager I should be good at managing projects.

Ok, I'm done. I promise.
