Re: Cut Predictions

Of the notables I'd say Helu get's IR'd and Anthony Armstrong finally gets cut.

The thing is, would Helu clear waivers? With his speed, I'm thinking he may have more potential than any other RB we have. How likely is it that some other team would snatch him?

Frankly, I'd try to trade Hightower even though he's our #1 back. I'm not convinced he can stay healthy enough for us, but I think we could get something for him. Go with Royster/Morris/Helu as our HBs, in a youth movement. But I admit I don't know much.

Re: Cut Predictions

Helu isn't going to be cut. IR maybe, but certainly not cut.

Re: Cut Predictions

Helu isn't going anywhere. The Redskin coaches won't even place him on IR just yet. I can see Helu going on the PUP list for a while. Tristian Davis will be activated to the 53 man roster in the meantime.

speaking of ir, how does it work as far as other teams being able to put in claims?

the patriots claimed ballard before the giants could get him to ir.

why couldn't a team have claimed tom brady in 2008 before he could get to ir?

He's not PUP eligible

Once the first wave of cuts hit, which is tomorrow, you can send someone straight to IR

Re: Cut Predictions

I think you'll see a couple of big names cut tomorrow. Give those vets a chance to catch on elsewhere

Re: Cut Predictions

If I had to pick between Bryan Kehl and Markus White, I would keep White and try to trade Kehl or cut him. Tough decision.
