Was the D perfect? No, but they kept giving us a chance in this game, and Sam kept throwing that chance back to the Bills... Yes the Oline was bad. Yes that's on the coaching staff. And obviously they didn't do enough to help their young QB, so if you wanna find some playcalls that could have been better, that's fair. But I wouldn't let it distract us from the main reason we lost.

Ugh. Just an awful game. Howell looked overwhelmed and the D hung in until the 4th quarter then wilted (knowing the Bills were going to run they still gashed us). No sacks. Fuller, Slye, and Way played well. No one else did. Team looked outmatched in every phase. On to Philly. Win that and we are tied for the lead in our division. Hard to believe that after today’s debacle. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Main reason to me was o line, play calling, then Sam.

Re: Bills Post-Game Thread
Performance aside this is where I thought they’d be after three games. Doesn’t matter how bad you lose it counts the same. Thought this was an interesting quote, sounds like the Bills knew exactly what Sam’s tendencies are:
https://twitter.com/john_keim/status...59830526365737 Not necessarily pinning this on Sam but he will have to develop defensive reading skills if he is the guy. And of course the o-line needs to play better

Re: Bills Post-Game Thread
Maybe Ron should bring back his old OL coach, he waited till the last minute to make Wharton the OL coach, maybe he’s over his head. What kind of bullshit was that?

Re: Bills Post-Game Thread
I am not a big fan of the term "growing pains" as it is a colloquialism used for young players that people think will grow out of a certain trait, with out identifying why that is the belief. The fact that it is an identifiable trend after three games suggests that it might take awhile for that trait to improve. We will see I guess.

Re: Bills Post-Game Thread
OL isn’t good , Howell is raw and needs more reps clearly but what concerns me is he makes bad decisions (Zach Wilson) type decisions. I hope he comes back this week and plays well because we have no chance if he doesn’t

Re: Bills Post-Game Thread
I’m wondering if having a first year OL coach who is being helped by the TE coach and a rookie QB combo is a bad idea. Way to go Ron.

It's hard to be feel confident right now though. To tone the panic down though: even if we were to lose to the Eagles we'd be 2-2, with 3 winnable games ahead against the Bears, Falcons and Giants.

It is right down RIDICULOUS that we ran the ball 5 times in the first half and B.Rob played in 20 snaps in the whole game. EB needs to stop Scott Turnering the offense, and adapt to the personnel/talent he has. Howell needs to stop holding on to the ball. And Gibson needs to sit on the f*cking bench. I know it is hindsight, but I wish EB would have brought in J. McKinnon in the offseason. Also, the next person that believes any of our crappy players are tradeable (to whoever said we should "trade" Gibson) needs to be banned for a month or something.
