Re: Washington 2024 Predictions

If J.D. Daniels stays healthy, it's a successful season regardless if we win 6 or 11 games. Just need him to boost his experience points before we have 1 more off-season to finish rebuilding the roster.

If JD has a RG3 type of impact we could be in for a fun season. But remember, even in RG3's rookie year we were 3-6 before going on a big run.
Let's hope this dude knows how to slide unlike RGIII.

Re: Washington 2024 Predictions

I’m optimistic for smart decisions being made by DQ and coordinators. The record doesn’t mean much with 25 middling teams capable of winning or losing each week, not to mention injury uncertainty. But since this thread is about predicting, I’ll go with 8-9. Two days to go!

lots of mediocre teams and we do have a new direction.. if Ron could get 4 wins with Sam .. not sure why this team couldn't get 8 wins ... 8-9 my prediction!

Re: Washington 2024 Predictions

This is a new team with a promising QB with questionable protection and a bad CB group. We ain't gonna average 28 a game, therefore we are 6-11, better but still weak. Hopefully Jayden doesn't get killed by wk 10. Not addressing OT more jeapordizes the future. Hopefully we are really lucky at LT and RT for that matter

Re: Washington 2024 Predictions

I think it's very realistic to expect a slow start, that would be very in line with most of our last 20 years.

But there have been enough rookie qb's to get off to fast starts in the same span to hope that maybe JD5 could be the next. We'll see I guess.

I think we get off to a slow start, like win 3-4 of our first 8 before getting better in the 2nd half of the year.

Theres a good chance tomorrow is really rough. I'd expect nothing less for many reasons. Tampa is a good team and they are building off a great 2nd half of the season... I'm worried it will get ugly.

7-9 wins, probably 7 or 8.

Yeah, but all three LBs went the wrong damn direction. This isn't even the play where they got the 1st down on 3rd and 17.

Re: Washington 2024 Predictions

7 wins will be our max with this defense.

The question is whose responsibility was the receiver, I doubt it was any of the linebackers. BUT the whole defense clearly lacked communication, and it was expected Wagner would not let that happen.

If I'm going to suck, and this team is going to do just that, I want my entire team to be rookies, 1st 2nd and 3rd year guys. There is no need for a bottom tier team to have guys like Ertz and Wagner.

I'm already on the phone if I'm Peters, I'm trying to trade #17, #94 and #93. Let those guys get on good teams and see if they can have a chance to win while we rebuild.

It was a screen pass man with the RB out of the backfield. The RB should be covered by line backers. ALL three of our line backers were all going opposite.
