Re: RI: Marcus Mason released
This is just a general comment and not directed at anyone.
It's funny, it seems that no matter who gets cut there's always someone that freaks out and all of a sudden it's all about how this front office has no clue, the last 50 years have been a mess, the franchise is a laughing stock, etc. I wish we could keep track of the number of moves that pan out in the Redskins favor. I think we'd be surprised at how many good moves, and how many good non-moves (not signing Courtney Brown for example) the team actually makes. |

Good, I always thought Omar was a little better than people gave him credit for.

Re: RI: Marcus Mason released
what's up with lemar marshall and walt harris forcing turnovers for marvin lewis, but not greg williams? Maybe we need to practice forcing turnovers more often........i know this has been brought up before, but it's becoming rediculous.

Jeeze Louise, Marcus Mason is back on the practice squad. He's still considered a free-agent however and could be signed elsewhere.

Re: RI: Marcus Mason released
I think he will be back on the full roster after next week as well, Gibbs loved this guy in some of his conversations on his tv show and radio as well..... kept mentioning things like.........makes the most out of every carry
encouraging to me, though I doubt he will get many snaps for a while

Re: RI: Marcus Mason released
omar is a good move. another guy that shouldn't have left.
the team has had a quiet but very good offseason this year. they've made upgrades, they've gotten younger, and they've fixed some issues... we still don't have a DE that'd scare anyone, and that's a real shame, but maybe that'll finally change this coming offseason. |

I hope you're right because even on the PS he's still a FA, and other teams will have an interest in him. The PS will not be a safe haven for him, if they like him like they say they do, he needs to be back on the 53.
