It's not that I'm sticking up for DS - I (and I think others) believe that, given the limited funds out there to support charitable causes in these tough economic times, perhaps this is not the best way those funds could be spent.

Let me put this differently: I own my house and no one tells me when to sell it and when not to. You could put ads on every bus in the USA demanding that I sell my house but I won't care, since the only voice that matters is mine.

The same goes for Snyder and the Redskins.
I get your analogy, but since you chose it specifically I have to comment on it further. I work w/neighborhood groups a bit, and often there are problem properties that they want to see something done about; usually it's a rental property & the neighborhood people call out the owner as a slum lord for renting to drug dealers, prostitutes, etc. In Virginia (a strong property rights state), citizens can petition a grand jury to declare a property a public nuisance.

The owner of course is entitled to due process, but my point is that just because you "own your house" doesn't mean you can hide yourself and not take responsibility for any impact you have on your neighbors. Of course, Snyder will only sell when it makes sense for him & he wants to. Don't take the sell the team mantra so literally, if legitimate this is an attempt to make him change. Public sentiment is begginning to show an impact already IMO. I don't think Vinny would've made the statement about Zorn today if not for the growing resentment toward DS.

I'm not happy with the season nor am I sticking up for his decisions.

I'm just not behind an effort to plaster buses with signs.

There's a difference.

The best way to not support Danny is just stop going to the games.

Really? ummm...Yeah of course the money could go to better cause, I try give to several charities each year... the way the people of this country spends money on unnecessary things each day is reprehensible in itself (but that another arguement). I would just like a visible statement from the fans of saying enough is enough. We are at bottom fellas, in all my years of being a fan I have never felt more bleak. And we have sat on ours hands for years watching this garbage. Its time and something needs to be done. If you dont have the money or you want it to go to another cause, by all means...

My not start a fund to just buy the team and then we could be like GB and everyone could own a part of the team. We could all come here durn the game and email in the plays that we all agree upon after taking a vote.

We say sell the team but mean get out of the operations and management of the team. More of an impact to say Sell The Team.
I must disagree. If your message is "get out of the operations," then saying that has the most "impact." Saying "sell the team" just makes the issue muddy and unclear. It also enables Danny to more easily ignore your message.

I don't like all of his decisions either, but I'm also not going to stoop to the level of what many people have. Editing wikipedia pages, cheap shots at his wife and kids, about his appearance, etc etc. It is ridiculous what people are saying about him. Jackassery at its finest. He deserves some kind of respect, no matter how much you disapprove of his leadership decisions.

This whole deal is classic mob mentality. Who needs rational and logical thought when we can act emotionally? Get him!!!
