LOL,Great Post! You also have to add a QB to that equation and to all out there ,do you really think there will be enough balls out there to keep Marshell and TO,Cooley and whoever your running backs are happy?

If the dummies in front of the QB can't block stinky poo Marshall will be an utter failure in D.C.

Re: WR Marshall Benched by McDaniels

From reading the NFL boards on ESPN this morning, the collective opinion is that Marshall will land in Washington. I'm sure Shanahan would love to have a receiver who knows how to operate in his system. Also, with the money that Danny boy will throw at him I'm sure it will mitigate any potential diva flare ups.

Re: WR Marshall Benched by McDaniels

We need a playmaker at wide out pick up TO for a year... Dont trade picks. But then again bringing in TO is not a long term solution and I really don't believe we are 1 player away...

apparently he didn't show up for treatment for his injury. i'm not sure about what's going on behind the scenes but if marshall is available we need to make a run at him. we simply don't have any studs on offense. what team fears any player on our offense? no one.

I'm not so sure Marshall is a "me" player. I know he's got a little bit of growing up to do but he hasn't really done any stupid shit this year. He doesn't seem to pout when he doesn't get the ball. Our wr's might be coming into their own, but let's face it. None of them have the ability of Marshall. He puts up 3 seasons w/ 100+ catches. he's had two 20 catch games, I mean his numers speak for themselves. If he's available we need to try and make a move.

We can't afford to go after Marshall. Not if we want to actually be a better team, a playoff team.

Who knows but if you all want talented head cases T.O. is available as a FA with out throwing away a draft pick. Shanahan tried to pick him up prior to getting fired. Buffalo got him instead.

Re: WR Marshall Benched by McDaniels

How about a sicker thought.....

Shanahan makes a trade for next years draft pick for Marshall
and still picks up T.O. as a FA.

Re: WR Marshall Benched by McDaniels

Mike Florio wrote this when someone asked where he thinks Marshall will go:

Quote:
9:02pm ET - Where do you think Brandon Marshall will end up next year?
Mike Shanahan supposedly was fed up with him in Denver. I think Chicago is a possibility because the Bears have to make this Jay Cutler thing work.

Re: WR Marshall Benched by McDaniels

We do not need another wr ........ OL ... OL .... OL . A running back would be a plus , as would a playmaker/leader on the DEF side of the ball .

Maybe if our front office and fans stopped trying to go for the next year quick fix we'd be a better team in the long run...but no let's go ahead and trade players and picks for Brandon Marshall that'll put us over the top. I mean I think of all the times Marshall carried the Broncos on his back and into the playoffs...
