Re: What movie are you watching?

I saw the Simpsons movie on Friday night. It was just as good as BSB mentioned, I would definitely go see it again. There were lots of typical simpsons humor in it.

I also saw Chuck n Larry two weeks ago, that was good too.

Re: What movie are you watching?

Die Hard is probably the best action flick I've seen this summer (over Transformers too).

Check out Bale's new flick, Rescue Dawn. It's intense.

You know what's crazy about Rescue Dawn? Check out the first Producer credit (you have to scroll down on this page)

Wow! That's awesome... it's cool to see stars not in the biz finance indies. Damon Dash (Rocafella) helped produce "The Woodsman", an indie with Kevin Bacon.

Didn't know Brand was into good film... being in L.A., it probably rubbed off on him.

The new Bourne is getting killer early reviews... I can't wait to see it.

SmootSmack, how did your John Travolta-in-drag costume go over at the opening of Hairspray?

I bet you were the prettiest bell at the ball.

Re: What movie are you watching?

I just got back from seeing Bourne Ultimatum. Great movie. Not a single minute wasted.

It helps, of course, to have seen the first two movies. But this movie was one of the best I've seen in years.

Saw Simpsons on Saturday. I enjoyed it, but it was a bit surreal at times to see those characters on the big screen.

Was it better than the 2nd one? I didn't care for #2 as much as I like #1.

I thought the same thing, but I still loved it.
I laughed my ass off when Homer tried to fall through the sandbox and gave everyone the finger with both hands.

I spent the first 10 minutes of the movie either thinking this same thing or "shushing" the rowdy teens sitting behind me (I've turned into an old man). The animation was just different enough from the TV show that it seemed really strange to me, maybe it was the shadows or something.

On a different note, I can't wait to see the Bourne Ultimatum.

You know what I'd like to know? Shouldn't they have given Tracey Ullman some love in this movie? The fact that she took a couple of minutes out of her own show 20 years ago to expose The Simpsons to the world seems to be forgotten too often. I don't know what kind of relationship the Simpsons producers have with Ullman, but a little props would have been nice.

Re: What movie are you watching?

Sunshine sucked! A story with potential given to folks who lack talent and vision is a recipe for disaster. And the movie industry wonders why they aren't making as much as they used to.

Re: What movie are you watching?

Right now I'm watching Inside Man on HBO. So far it's been a good movie, i'd recommend seeing it.
