I can't believe Jones has only won 1 game in his career outside of playing us lmao.. This franchise makes bad QBs look good

I feel like teams have successfully game planned for our d-line by emphasizing getting the ball out quick. We tend to have more success when they try longer developing plays that require more time in the pocket.

Either way Jones is now 4-0 against us in his career and 1-17 against everybody else, so he has our number now. I've never seen somebody who was so mediocre against everybody else dominate us like he has.

DL can't work miracles on their own, our LBs are subpar at best.

Our safeties missed a few fits also. But those guys shouldn't be starters.

Re: Giants post season ending loss thread

GRADES FOR BOTH SIDES YESTERDAY:

OFFENSE
C.LUCAS = 86.1
I . WRIGHT = 85.7
K .ALLEN = 81.7
C .SIMS = 78
TERRY = 78

DEFENSE -
ALLEN - 83
PAYNE -77
HOLCOMB -75
SETTLE -72
DARBY -71

One grade to be notes is Chase Young has now had 4 games in which his Pass rushing grade has not reached 65.. He's a rookie and we have to be patient but that is not a "Generational talent" type production

These numbers don’t seem right. How could Terry be lower that Wright?

I think we are seeing how critical Ionitis is to our run D. Losing him for the year was brutal and he makes the other D linemen around him that much better.

Kyle Allen is having surgery and is out for the year. Guess it's the Alex Smith show now.

Re: Giants post season ending loss thread

Just hard to believe we had yet another gruesome leg injury involving a QB.

We're hiring Andre Chambers from The Athletic as our first Chief People Officer. Sounds like he's gonna lead our new revamped HR dept.

Rivera on Smith starting: "This is good for Dwayne. He'll get an opportunity to see how to truly prepare for a game as a starter and hopefully Dwayne will take it that way. This is an opportunity to learn and grow."

Re: Giants post season ending loss thread

RR’s other comments make clear that he did not think Haskins put in the work to learn the position. Not good. He says he is talented but that’s not nearly enough. Pretty candid assessment.

Rivera or any coaches cannot force Haskins to study better. If Haskins is not willing to put in the efforts even to this day then there is no point for us to keep him.

Re: Giants post season ending loss thread

Plenty of kids his age don't know how to work hard, he's probably never had to. It's all just come naturally. But in the NFL if you don't grow up quick his career is going to be over before it can even get started.
