No I just had to come up with a screen name to join the sait and was actually surprised that firstdown worked. I did not join the site to talk politics but sometime I get tired of the same old threads talking about the same old football stuff. So I come here and debate the same political stuff over and over again.

Here's a case where even though spell check would catch it, the choices wouldn't have been much better ... mine gives:

Sit, sat, saint, saith, gait. I would have expected salt in the list too, but alas it was not worthy.

Re: What is the meaning of your screen name?

My name used to be angryssg. The ssg used to stand for Staff Sergeant. I have since given up that title, because I am no longer enlisted and because I would get confused when people would make comments towards Sherrif Gonna Getcha (SGG).

As far as the Angry goes...I am not really angry, people just always mistake my demeanor for someone who is constantly pissed off (online and in person) even my wife gets confused. Its a label that I will never get rid of.

Re: What is the meaning of your screen name?

Actually I was hoping FRPLG would chime in here, because I've always wanted to figure that one out.

I was drinking Jim Beam and 7up when I first found this site in its Yahoo! days back in the summer of '99. When I joined, "Beamnseven" was already taken...

Throw in a couple of vowels and you'll figure his out. If I remember right, he said his football coach reminded him of a fireplug (or something like that)

And I said "but Lord Gibbs, I am not worthy of discussing the Redskins online as the ability to be a jerk thanks to internet autonomy is an honor which with I am not worthy." And the voice said "thy name is not worthy but thy soul is and thou shalt be called Dirtbag, and your post shall be fruitful and multiply 359 times hence forth."

Afterwords I swore I would never do drugs again, so I used the Warpath as a means to help distract me while I quit.

Anyway in all seriousness I was a tweener in high school, going back and fourth from linebacker to DL/OL. By the time my senior year of high school came around I developed a respect for the importance of play in the trenches and by the time I registered for the forum in 2006 the OL was nicknamed the dirtbags by Buges so I figured that was as good of a place as any to start. Also I was number 59 in high school but for some reason my emails and SN's always had a 359 at the end (I think I stole the "idea" from my younger brother). And so Dirtbag359 was born.

I still think it's kind of funny though how sometimes people will refer to me as DB, as theres a part of my brain wired to interpert that as douchebag upon first look but it's only for less then a second

As to how I came on the site, well I had been on a few fitness forums and figured it'd be nice to get in contact with Redskin fans for a change so I searched for a redskin forum on Yahoo and some how I had the good fortune of ending up here instead of ES.
Impressive, most impressive. This one had me all kinds of cracking up.

I think that by you going to that last camp as a kid has cursed our beloved Skins to suckdom. I probably echo the sentiments of everyone here, and with that said I would gladly pay for you to go back to Art Monks' camp and reverse this terrible dry spell that we have been in as fans.
