Re: Pass the Kool Aid - 2024 Season Preview
I thought reading the headline there would be actual comment from Harris to confirm RR is in place till year end, but instead it reads as more speculation than anything.
https://www.nfl.com/news/commanders-...a-after-season It suggests its unlikely that RR will be fired tomorrow, but that doesn't mean he's guaranteed and it certainly doesn't protect JDR. I have a feeling from this RR could be bumped upstairs come January (NOT GM!) rather than out and out fire him (unless he retires), but JDR (and others) will be gone. Personally I'd rather see a GM in place now if possible (but that could depend on their preference only being available in January) and JDR fired sooner than later. |

Re: Pass the Kool Aid - 2024 Season Preview
Was really hoping to wake up to Rivera and JDR is fired thread.
Oh well, looks like still 5 more weeks. I think we will beat either the Jets or Rams and lose to everyone else. 5-12 here we come.

Re: Pass the Kool Aid - 2024 Season Preview
I hope they lose out and go 4-13. Get the number 3 pick. Let a REAL GM do his job not some fake Ron Rivera who clearly can’t draft shit.

Pass the Kool Aid - 2024 Season Preview
Bobby Slowik or Press Taylor. Want Slowik. Adam Peters for GM.
9 picks. Five in the first three rounds. Boatload of cap space. A quarterback. Im guzzling kool aid if they make the right hires at gm and hc. |

Captain obvious with the rumors here. Lets ride it out, I hope to see competitive games but if they lose I'm not sweating it. Ron should gracefully retire after the season is over to spare the shame of getting fired.

The C-men increasing ticket prices in 2024
https://www.washingtonpost.com/sport...ticket-prices/ Half of the season tickets will increase by no more than 7 percent, and the lowest-priced seats — 10,000 in the upper level — will not increase in price at all. The team declined to share the highest increase for the remaining seats. The team sent renewals to season ticket holders Wednesday afternoon, with a deadline of Jan. 19. On average, ticket holders on annual plans will pay an extra $12.50 a month. Including premium seating, the average price will go up $15 a game. The cost of parking at FedEx Field will not change. The ticket price increase is the sixth this century for the franchise and the second in as many seasons. Last year, for the first time in a decade, the Commanders increased ticket prices by an average of 4 percent after the team invested nearly $2 million in upgrades to its club level.
