Sources: Ireland suggested that Martin confront Incognito physically | ProFootballTalk
Great advice from the GM. So lets be clear, the FO, coaching staff were fully aware.

But then again, there are more than a few acclimated NFL players who played for private schools and academically elite universities... this guy probably just had a different makeup. |

I think this says a lot, and you have multiple Miami players backing up Incognito and putting their name to it in paper. It Appears That Jonathan Martin Could Currently Be The Biggest Scumbag Liar In The NFL - BasketFootBall.com So that leads you to the question. Who's driving this bizarre episode from Martin and why?

Re: Around the NFL Week 10
I don't know what to believe about the situation down in Miami anymore, but I've come full circle on one thing; If either of the two players are likely to return to the NFL someday, it'll probably be Richie Incognito. I think Martin's done in the NFL, no matter what.

But I could see both of them scooping up a job somewhere else, just on the incident by itself. I mean, hell, if Manti Te'o can get a job after his fake girlfriend fiasco, I think anything is possible. I don't know how good they are as players. If Martin is only a second or third string player coupled with this bullying incident, then yeah, I'd say he's probably done.

Re: Around the NFL Week 10
The one word most often associated with Incognito is teammate. That the players are more sympathetic towards him in that way makes me think a desperate GM would scoop him up in a pinch. Incognito is only 30 years old. He could sit out an entire season and still come back once this blows over.

Re: Around the NFL Week 10
I think both guys will resume their careers elsewhere.
I think this is a case, much like bounty gate, where the curtain of the NFL is pulled back and the public doesn't like what it sees, but this is the reality of life in an NFL locker room. |

As far as this particular case of two people who had an issue with each other (which again is much like the rest of the world) i agree - they both wind up elsewhere. Hopefully not with the Skins either. I mean I really dont think Incognito was planning a hit on Martin. Lol. Im not even slightly interested in the story anymore. |
