Re: Skins Viks Postgame

I know Orakpo made some plays tonight, but I am still disappointed in his output since we've drafted him. And he was the first player that I was clamoring for that we actually drafted. I see what other teams do to our QB every week, and for all the investments we've put into our pass rush . . . it stinks.

Orakpo better not get big money. He is good, maybe very good, but he is not elite.

Why we don't run that play to reed is beyond me.

We lost be cause our D didn't show and we stopped running the ball......but.....

Was the officiating as bad as I thought? I constantly felt like we were getting screwed.

Pretty much. If you're going to throw against man, that's the guy who gets it done. Moss even being on the field there is a personnel failure of some sort (either bad player usage or not enough good receivers, depending on your perspective).

Re: Skins Viks Postgame

If this was a baseball team, our closer would have an ERA of 7.56. You can't trust this team to win, no matter how much they are winning by. And I blame that on the coaching. We are lacking in talent, but so was the other team, and we were up 27-14 in the 2nd half. I'm so tired of always firing coaches though, its such a carousel all the time, but damn if games like this don't make you want to pull the plug. We need our full salary cap and an excellent draft. I just decided I'll go for giving Mike his full 5 years, if others don't agree, I don't blame you.

Yeah the refs missed every penalty that should've been called on the Vikings, that said our guys are idiots for that after the whistle crap. In fact it cost us a couple of scores possibly.

Yeah, started with that "helmet to helmet" hit on Ponder early in the game. What a phantom call...looked like a legal hit on the QB as he let the ball go.

But the refs didn't decide this game...

Re: Skins Viks Postgame

Better on Thursday night than Sunday morning, I feel like all of us who are on the cliff will back away by Sunday and enjoy our day. I want the other teams in our division to lose, but I won't be watching and getting upset.

Its been all down hill after the Ravens game last year, when RGIII's knee whipped like it did, even though we kept winning, in hindsight that was the end. Took our O too long to get going, and with our defense we have, we need them every second of every game.

I hope RGIII makes it through this year healthy, keeps working out his leg in the off season, comes back with no brace next year and we just kill it.

For the Shanny's they better hope so, its their 5th year.

Re: Skins Viks Postgame

Ok so in a battle of a couple of the worst defenses in the league, the least worst wins.

I honestly can't figure this team out. They are the epitome of inconsistency. Poor first halves and pretty good second halves early on. Now it is pretty good first halves and poor second halves of late.

I feel like I'm being strung along "so you say there's a chance". No, I no longer say there's a chance. I think the NYG have a better chance than we do, but this is likely the Cowboy's division this year.

Uggghhh....

But, ALF is a beast. Let's get an O-line that can pass protect and some defense...
