Re: Redskins Vs Vikings Gameday thread

What I want to see tonight:

-Santana Moss (or someone other than Josh Morgan) returning punts

-about 65% run - 35% pass

-Forbath getting some air under his kicks

-Ponder running for his life

-AP on the sidelines

Can I get a big AMEN on that point. Why they keep using Josh Morgan for returning anything is such a mystery to me. Maybe they like starting from the 17 yard line?

I personally think they are trying to give him a chance to justify his contract since Hank has taken his spot on offense.

Re: Redskins Vs Vikings Gameday thread

For what it's worth, Morgan used to be pretty effective on returns with the 49ers. So he has a history. Before the broken leg.

You may be wondering what that has to do with the current decision to keep him returning kicks...and that would require a much more thorough investigation of how/why decisions are made in this organization. That is something I only understand well enough to know that I don't understand it.

morgan is returning kicks cause our real returner is on IR and thompson couldn't stop muffing balls.

I always forget about Richard Crawford; he could really be useful right now...

It's more fun to make a grand conspiracy out of it.

Seriously though at this point we might as well put Moss back there more on punts. It's not like he's doing much of anything at WR.

The NFL in the past has basically said that High School football feeds College and College football feeds the NFL so they avoid doing Friday night and Saturday games (Until College football is basically over) so the pipeline keeps churning out the players. Dont see why the exemption would prohibit Friday nights but I guess anything is possible.

Maybe that was the intent but the results have been in for weeks. Enough.

I'm not a big fan of it either, but that's because I'm at work until 6:30, and then it will take me an hour to get home and change, and then I'm going to be at a sports bar all night with my friends, and then I have to go back to work another 11 1/2 hours tomorrow too. So yeah the timing's not that great, but I'll survive somehow. A win would definitely help. And honestly, if there's one game that I feel we have a chance at blowing out a team in, it would be this one. I'm really hoping we don't have a nail biter at the end.
