So you're going judge the guy in a no win situation? He's proven that he can come in and play well. The question is can he be a 16 game starter. I know this, I've seen enough of RG3 that I know that he's nothing special as a passer.

I am still going to wait until after his 3rd year to say whether he can pass or not. I saw some great passes from him when he had a healthy knee.

I am still in the wait and see mode, I've seen good and bad from RG3. He is too young and coming off an injury to declare him a mediocre passer.

I might be the only here who thinks RG3's lack of development time is also a contributing factor here, along with his still obvious knee issues. Even when we were terrible last year, I don't remember his passes being this off the mark. He's also making bad decisions, i.e. throwing to a triple-covered Jordan Reed when Pierre Garcon is wide open for the td. It looks like a combo of defenses knowing how to prep for us, a lack of development for RG3, and his knee still not being 100%. As far as anyone pissed about today's game goes, who didn't think we would have had to overcome long odds to beat the Broncos today? We got pleasantly surprised for 3 quarters, then the Broncos got it in gear and played up to their standards.

Today was probably the worst game Griffin has ever had . He was terrible and didn't even look like he was ready.
I knew we wouldn't beat Denver but I was hoping our offense would play good

Man is going to be paid this offseason. I have never thought much of him, but he has probably been the MVP of the team. It is not even close on the defense.

The Broncos adjusted at halftime, the Redskins as usual didn't.

Going back to when we were up two touchdowns, what should we have done differently, from that point on?

It was several years.

I'm tired of the knee excuse. He's healthy. Besides, what does locking in on one guy and holding the ball have to do with his knee? If a defense stops him from running he's a below average QB right now. But it's not all on him. The line gets manhandled and the wr's stink and that's a big reason why we're a two win team.

You will not get a 1st rounder for him period!!!!!!! Remember Smoker and his predecessors? Good QBs but not starter quality. MSU players(QBs anyway) generally do not make good NFL caliber starting material, but do make decent backups. My point is that Kirk isn't going to garner any teams 1st round pick. If they need a QB that bad they will draft one in the first round anyway. Right now RG III isn't looking so hot, and might become one of the greatest over hype jobs in NFL history when it is all said and done. We need Cousins as a solid backup and part time starter til we sort this mess out. If Shanny does get the boot after this season or next, the new HC might draft yet another QB(Braxton Miller if he stays for his senior year?), just as to have "his" guy.
