1. Absolutely agree. I thought Schiano showed his colors and lack of class early. Someone who seems to think "I am just bringing discipline and hard-nosed football to the team" is an excuse for being an ass.

2. I have no doubt that Schiano did not leak anything nor approve of anyone leaking anything nor have direct knowledge that it was leaked. However, reminescent of Henry II, I would be willing to be a lot of money that he walked into a room of his assistant coaches/team yes-men and said something akin to "Who will rid me of this meddlesome QB??". Taking the hint - and a few knowing glances later - the Barons are in full gallop to Cantebury and a "source" mysteriously leaks the news of the drug test.

Remember this statement/post towards the end of the season. This is a (as Bill Engvall would say) "here's your sign" post...

I'm still laughing at this

True. Doesnt the Freeman camp have a motive of leaking information as well in order to lessen the trade value and just get the preferable outright cut? I dont trust either side in this issue. Freeman already went behind the organization's back with the ESPN interview.

Yup. Both sides seem in the wrong.

But if I were Freeman, I would not leak that I have ADHD. ADHD is not the best thing for an NFL QB.

Re: Around the NFL Week 5

The Bucs have more to gain by trying to smear Freeman and justify running him out of town. I can't see this stuff coming from his camp.

yeah, this game reminds of several years ago when the Saints went into Dallas undefeated on a Thursday night and were looking amazing. Dallas got the upset victory.

I dont think it happens this time, but wouldnt be surprised.

Dallas is going to get rolled. Nobody has the D right now to hang with Denver and the level Manning is playing at.

I hope they put this game on TV because I want to see tears in Cowboys stadium when Manning puts up 70+ against that struggling secondary.

Talk about another team putting up serious numbers, this is awesome and well deserved: Jimmy Graham of New Orleans Saints 1st tight end to win monthly honor - ESPN

Re: Around the NFL Week 5

And remember, Jimmy Graham is not a top 100 player according to the other players voting in the nfls top 100.

As far as Manning and Dallas, yes, this seems like a game where Dallas pulls off the big upset. Like I mentioned earlier, Dallas has played Manning great the past 2 times they've played them. I don't think this is going to be a blowout, as much as I hope Denver blows them out.

I don't see Freeman's side having any incentive to devalue him

Re: Around the NFL Week 5

As to the Freeman thing, John Clayton always struck me as an "up and up guy". I have to believe he reported it thinking he was getting substantive news from a reliable source about possible reasons for Freeman's benching (As in, "Okay JC, here's the inside scoop - you didn't hear it from me but -- the real reason Freeman's on the sidelines is related to the same reasons he has been in the NFL's drug testing program for the last year. I've seen him submitting to the testing.").

It seems to me Clayton was likely played a little in this matter. Makes me wonder if he may be a little upset about that.
