Re: Redskins Offseason Thread
I would not oppose to the idea of bringing Reid in although I am not sure where he will fit in since we just drafted Apke, and we still have Smithson and Everette as back up.. I would not mind if we cut Everette to sign Reid but then, would Reid accept back-up role?

Re: Redskins Offseason Thread
Unfortunately, it seems that most NFL teams treat their cheerleaders like crap. Given how much the league has looked into domestic abuse and whatnot, they should really look into how teams treat their cheerleaders.

The Director of these girls should be fired ......immediately.No one should have to go through that. I doubt Dan or Bruce knew this was going on,Dan might not be a super football guy but I can not see him giving this a green light! I don't give my passport to anyone , these girls are not children there is a reason they do this either to be seen or meet someone, money was never a reason to be an NFL cheerleader(at least not directly)....still doesn't make it right. As a player they are obnoxious and just get in the way, they are only eye candy for the fans and that is all they have ever been. I say this becuase I have know three Redskin cheerleaders over the years, friends daughters and friends of my daughters.Which goes back to my post above, not one thought by being a Redskin cheerleader they were helping the team win. Glade the Giants don't have them.

Absolutely, He should go if true.
I wonder, only because of timing, if the guy fired from Buffalo had any connection to this stuff. From the article: Quote:

Re: Redskins Offseason Thread
While this probably prevents so many issues within an organization, heads are going to roll once this gains traction in the national media. This is serious stuff.

Re: Redskins Offseason Thread
I think we should worry more about the facts:
1) The team transports the cheerleaders across international borders. 2) They take their passports away from them. 3) They're forced to take topless photos at a shoot in front of VIP guests, mostly men. 4) Some of them are coerced to escort special guests at a club. I dunno, isn't there a word for this? Trafficking? |

So let me get this straight. They pimp out the cheerleaders to high-rolling season ticket holders. What the hell are they thinking? |

Re: Redskins Offseason Thread
It's bad enough living in a different state and having to constantly defend/explain why the team name is not racial slur. Now, I also have to explain how I can be fan of a team that exploits and traffics women. What's next - homophobic or pro-ISIS comments from a team executive?
Everyone involved in this situation - as well as every executive who knew about it and did nothing, condoned it, or knowingly looked the other way - needs to lose their job.

Re: Redskins Offseason Thread
If any of ♤ is true, we're looking at heavy fines and/or loss of draft picks. Idiots.

Re: Redskins Offseason Thread
If we are lucky, they will take the team from Dan Snyder like they did to the Carolina owner
