Good read on Cousins ^

Still can't believe we pulled that one out. Down 8, RG3 gets hurt, and we manage to take to OT and win?! Unreal.

This season since our bye week, has been magical! I don't think I have enjoyed watching the 'skins play nearly as much as I have these past four weeks! Not in a long time, anyway! No matter if this team makes it into the post season or not, this team is something special.

I feel the same way. We get a franchise QB, we get a franchise RB, we finally have a decent kicer, the coaching staff re-designs a scheme and turned it into a whole new scheme that defenses will have to adjust to, and I'm sure there are still people out there who are in the "Fire Shanahan" catagory.

In a season...err half season full of "Things this Team Just Doesn't Do" it was one more to add to the list.

Cousins is the real deal. If he was in the 2013 draft he might have been the best prospect out of the bunch though I think its probably safer to say that Geno Smith is a better prospect.

This year he might be tied with Tannehill for the 4th best QB in a ridiculously deep QB class though Tannehill obviously get the edge because he's actually playing and doing a fair job.

God forbid RG3 doesn't start the Skins will still be fine against the Browns provided Morris can continue to avoid the rookie wall and Garcon plays. Keep in mind Morris has played in 16 games this year with 10 or more carries and he was fighting for his life in camp. The fact that he's still going strong is an incredible feat.

Agreed.

Last many years, I would have likely walked away from the TV. It is nice to watch these games this year and actually have hope and OPTIMISM.

I like how the site's ad generator has populated an ad for a knee cold compressor given how much it's noticed us discuss Roberts injury lol.

As sweet as the turkey day victory and the blowout win over philly was, or the mnf fight with the giants was (my least favorite team) - that game yesterday stands alone. All the things you mentioned - as positive as i was remaining - it really seemed improbable at one point. Unreal pretty much sums that win up.

Matty was talking about people calling the game "over" before it's over. Sure, I cursed the team for their goof-ups and cheered for their shining moments. That's what fans do. What I didn't do is call GAME OVER before it's over. It's ok though, after 20 years of bad football, it's learned behavior

This could be a wild division race, granted the Giants have to lose, but using the generator you can easily create scenarios where we are division winner, wild card, or out, all with reasonable W-L expectations for all the teams that are vying for the 2 wild card spots and our division.

Pretty exciting that one loss doesn't knock us out with 3 to play. vice versa kind of a bummer that 3 wins doesn't guarantee it either...

Whatever - good season, especially once Garcon got back.

NC you are something else man. Please go back and read the gameday thread. You cursed out Williams, Morris for fumbling, Cooley, the defense several times and the offense as you put it "this shit isnt going to cut it in the NFL or ANY OTHER LEAGUE".
I on the other hand stated twice at half time that we would win the second half. You have as much rite pointing out people who were giving up as the Rev does today.

Because I call Williams a bum and say that going 2-10 on 3rd down conversion isn't cutting it in the NFL doesn't mean I'm giving up on my team. It means I'm point out obvious things wrong that need to be corrected. Giving up on the team would be saying.............GAME OVER! THIS TEAM SUCKS AND WE ARE DOOMED.

You are trying to compare apples to oranges my friend.

Guess what? Williams is still a bum, and going 3-10 on 3rd down conversion (before Kirk came in) isn't going to cut it in the NFL. Having 394 (yards prior to KC) yards of offense with only 14 points to show for it says it's not a efficient offense.

Not even sure why you have your panties in a bunch about this. I was just pointing out several people gave up on the game before it was over. Calm down bro.

Either way i believe that i remained uber positive througout - when we fumbled and i was listening on the radio i think i said ok game over. I did not have a tv in front of me to know he was bobbling the ball. But when you curse out the team throughout the game isnt that somewhat akin to saying we suck - game over?
