$9m isn't that significant, in my opinion. It will be tough to replace Cook's talents.

I'm surprised also. Will be interesting to see where he lands. Explosive back when healthy. Really hope not Dallas.

Regarding Cook being released, appears to be done for 3 reasons:

1) Minny thinks Alexander Mattison is ready to take over the starting spot.
2) Too many negative plays. O'Connell's offense isn't down with that.
3) Salary cap

4 straight seasons over 1,000 yards and still got released. Only 27. Craziness.

cook is still a really good player but not at 10 million, or whatever it was.

Clearly no team does want to pay rbs. 4 straight seasons over 1,000 yds and only 27 years old. Playmaker. O'Connell wanted more of a back that's not going for the big play all the time.

Dallas at #3? Seriously? I have always hated their unis -- what color are those pants anyway -- green, silver, blue? Of course, I am biased, because I hate that team with the intensity of a thousand suns, but they're a walking eyesore.
