Yup....and the cycle of players getting injured could continue......I think one of the reasons this keeps happening is the practices under Gruden are light and soft and once they get to game speed on Sunday the team is under prepared because of the fierce pace out on the gridiron.....

Signing and retaining players with injury histories probably correlates more with predicting future injuries than anything that happens in practice. Consistent with your theory, Jay should have been harder in practice on players like Reed, Moses, Lavau, Richardson, Nicholson despite their history of missing time due to injury?

Re: Redskins Mock Draft
Whomever we draft I really hope they start looking at a players injury history. We just have too many guys that can't stay healthy. What good is a stud player if he's always in the damn cold tub?

Re: Redskins Mock Draft
The Redskins might have fewer injuries if the refs would call some penalties on the opposing team every now and then.

Re: Redskins Mock Draft
The Redskins had the 2nd most Pre Draft QB visits (9) and the most WR visits (15)
Doug and Company are attacking our 2 biggest needs just like they did last yr with DT and RB.

Re: Redskins Mock Draft
IMO wr's can be found in the mid rounds. No need to draft one in the first two rounds. W/ the first two picks.... Please draft a LB that can rush the passer, or a ILB that can make plays so I don't have to look at Mason Foster anymore, or a TE that can actually move a NFL LB off his spot, or LG and make Gruden cry. The first two picks need to be day one starters!!!
I think the Mizzo QB will be gone so wait until the 3rd round and get a QB. Rypien or Grier should be there. |

Re: Redskins Mock Draft
Excluding Derrius Guice the Redskins haven't had an impactful 2nd round pick since Trent Murphy in 2014.....this upcoming draft is loaded with 1st round talent at every position projected to go in the 2nd round.

The Skins' typical fourth round pick is nearly as bad. That's the round when they reach for the developmental player they could have had later. |

Re: Redskins Mock Draft
Can’t say that Derrius Guice has had any impact either. As of now, he is another 2nd round non/under achiever. He can fix that this season, and we all hope he does. But so far he is a member of the Redskins’ 2nd round bust list.
