Re: Redskins vs. Jags Gameday thread

Is it me or does Chase seem more comfortable in the pocket.

Chase Daniel is so good...he can throw for two TDs in one drive

I couldnt watch the game, if you had to say who had the better night between CB and CD who would get the nod?

From a numbers standpoint CB5. CD had a TD pass but at the same time he also had a fumble that was lost. Colt was more accurate and threw for just as many yards.

Chase got a bit of the shaft b/c when he started to play Del Rio kep the first team defense and were all over him.

Colt did fine until he got hurt...he was being chased out of the pocket when that happened. I thought he was holding the ball a bit too long.

Chase came back and did very well in the last drive and hit Mitchell for a TD. He looked very comfortable in that drive.

So Zorn has a tough decision as it seems that one didnt just outdo the other.

Daniel was getting beat up pretty bad, no protection at times. Colt looked pretty sharp, was nice to see him be smart and throw the ball away a couple times. Daniel made a couple nice throws in the end.

IMO Colt should have cemented his spot at #3, hopefully his injury isnt serious. Daniel showed some good feet, and he plays with alot of heart. I wont be surprised if someone picks him up before he makes it to our practice squad.

What about RB....Dorsey, Mason, Alridge...Rock? Gonna be a really tough call for someone.

Also does Holmes really have a shot at making the team? He looks like a baller, and I thought they said he led the team in tackles this preseason.

I was thinking that he was going to overtake Thomas during the season but now I'm not as confident about that assumption. Still I think within a year he will at least be our #3 Reciever and who knows we might end up with Kelly and Mitchell at 1 and 2 with Santana getting a lot of looks in the slot. In fact I dont' see why we wouldn't try something like that this year with 2 of our big guys at the 1 and 2 with Tana taking the slot.

Sounds good. It wouldn't surprise me.

Re: Redskins vs. Jags Gameday thread

Colt moved the ball nicely. Looked much more poised.

Chase had a tough going when he first went in, but the Jags had a lot of their first string D still in. Chase also didn't have much protection.
