Some Attendees At Donald Trump's Autoworkers Speech Were Total Frauds: Report

https://news.yahoo.com/entertainment...110155606.html

Some attendees at Donald Trump’s speech about the autoworkers’ strike Wednesday apparently were shills carrying signs falsely identifying them as union members, the Detroit News reported.

One person held a sign that said “union members for Trump,” but admitted to the newspaper she was not a union member. Another carried a placard with the words “auto workers for Trump” and confessed he was not an auto worker when the outlet requested an interview. Neither identified themselves.

Trump visited Michigan to show solidarity with striking United Auto Workers members, but instead stoked fear about electric cars to the crowd at a nonunion auto parts supplier. He warned workers that they would be out of a job in a few years, even if they secured sought-after salary increases.

They removed dress code and then reinstated it. It was dumb to lift the dress code to begin with.

Schumer misjudged on that. He probably thought people would fall in line and making it a purely partisan play (My team versus their team). Glad to see that didn't happen for what seems like the first time in years. Maybe there is some hope for our Republic after all.

The maga infested republicans made absolute fools of themselves at their impeachment inquiry. Maybe they should concentrate on avoiding a shutdown. What an absolute clown show they are.

For Fact’s Sake: The president does not set the price of gas

Republican presidential candidate and Florida Governor Ron DeSantis fed his supporters a false promise: that he would deliver $2 gas if he wins in 2024. For Fact’s Sake, Ali Velshi explains why the president of this country does not have the power to tip the scales of the global oil market. No matter how much Ron DeSantis cries "woke" over President Joe Biden’s energy policy, $2 gas isn’t going to happen just because he says so.

Bowman’s office said it was an accident, and the congressman told reporters later Saturday: “I was trying to get to a door. I thought the alarm would open the door and I pulled the fire alarm to open the door by accident.”

Imagine someone actually believing this…clearly marked fire alarm

Socialist Rep. Jamaal Bowman pulls fire alarm as Dems try to delay vote on GOP stopgap spending bill

Democrats clearly trying to shutdown the government

You're overthinking this nonniey. It is so fucking simple - he's got history with previous charges against him, his house is chock full of bribery payouts, he's the head of the Senate foreign relations committee so he holds tremendous influence. There's more red flags here than in China. If he's guilty (which I believe he is) he needs to be locked up and removed from office. It's that simple. Corrupt politicians are bad. Don't overthink this.

Re: The Most Fresh & Cordial Political Thread Ever

Side note: The federal government typically doesn't bring charges in cases it can't win. So if you get indicted by the feds, there's a really good chance you're guilty.

Good read on what a liability it is for Menendez to remain in office. He's gotta go.

Not really over thinking this at all. The first time he got indicted the Dems supported him even reelected him - now switch to today different circumstance. The thing I hate with what has happened to the GOP is they used to not elect/reelect/support their criminals when it became known they were criminals - that was a Dem thing to do. Trump and MAGA changed all that (to such a degree that it is mind boggling). (Examples would be Ollie North - lost enough GOP support that he lost in Red Virginia at the time, Nixon - H Baker and other GOPs politicians told him to resign or they would support impeachment).

I wouldn't know because that was 8 years ago, which is approximately 40 years in my timeline of politics.

For me it's simple. Corrupt politicians need to be removed from office and put in jail. He's corrupt. Proceed accordingly.

Also apparently 27 other Democratic senators have called for his resignation. That's approximately 25 more than conservative senators that have flipped on Trump.

Re: The Most Fresh & Cordial Political Thread Ever

History of toilet paper is so .. human. 1800s people wouldnt dare acknowledge that they pooped so no one would talk about it.

We would take newspapers in the toilet to wipe. Or sticks or cloth or moss or communal sponges on ends of sticks.

Then a newspaper started adding just empty pages.

Two brothers (Scott) started selling toilet paper on rolls in stores but everyone was too embarrassed to be seen buying them. So no one bough them.

Hotels started placing toilet paper rolls in their lobby bathrooms and suddenly everyone just so happened to need to take a poop when near a hotel lobby.

Flush toilets were starting to be introduced as well and the thicker newspaper would clog the pipes so as flush toilets became a household item .. so did the thinner softer toilet paper roll.

------------

beautiful human vanity to it all

To embarrassed to acknowledge that one poops .. so we all walked around with dingleberries and shit stained underwear.
