Re: 2022 veteran QB options
Wilson isn’t going anywhere, the Seahawks would be the dumbest franchise to let a top 10 QB walk. Get a few defensive starters and they’ll be fine

Re: 2022 veteran QB options
The entire fan base actually thought we had a shot at Wilson cause he took a pick w/ Allen at the Pro Bowl. There was never a shot at him. Nevah evah evah... lol.
You can add Teddy B to the vet list as well. |

Re: 2022 veteran QB options
I’d rather take my chances with Malik at 11 then sign Teddy, he’s another QB2 floating around the league.

Re: 2022 veteran QB options
If it’s not Watson (highly unlikely)
It’ll be Mitch, Winston or Mariota probably.. It suck’s but QB1s don’t just fall off trees , there was also a report that they “called the Chiefs for Mahomes” I doubt it was legit but if it was it just shows that they are telling the fans “we will try” to get a QB.

Re: 2022 veteran QB options
The way the doors been slammed in our face on the offers we've put out says nobody is going to part with a #1/franchise QB and it's far from surprising. But its why I baulk at trading for Jimmy G. We'll be competing against 2-3 other teams, with probably better trade capital, forcing us to offer over the odds to land him. And SF would be quite happy to rip us off, so to speak.
Keep the picks for this and next year, get Winston or Trubisky in FA and draft BPA at #11 (if that's Willis then all to the good). For me, Jimmy G is effectively on the same level as Winston, maybe even Trubisky so why give up picks when we can pick up an FA without giving up draft capital? If one of the top QB's isn't there at #11, draft BPA or trade back, then pick up a QB in rd 2 or 3 and have them battle it out with TH to be backup. If they truly are good enough for #2 at that stage, then waving bye bye to TH isn't a big deal and if not, they can go on the PS as a project in case next years draft doesn't net us a starter. I just don't think there's anyone worth trading for at this stage, as we won't get value. |

Re: 2022 veteran QB options

Giving up to much for jimmy G or a guy like Mitch coming here…not so much |

Re: 2022 veteran QB options
SF, why do you say that brother? He’s humble, works his ass off and is built much different.
