Re: Skins Viks Postgame
There will be more coaching changes by season's end. Yet again this franchise can't ever seem to turn the corner. I'm starting to wonder if this is all rigged.

Re: Skins Viks Postgame
Sad display by the D.
Ruined a pretty good night by the offense. |

Re: Skins Viks Postgame
I would seriously be ok with mid season firings at this point. Don't tell me anything about being 3-6 last year and winning 7 straight. It's not going to happen this year. This team is dead.

I don't think we're winning 7 straight again, but I don't think it's time to pull the plug on everything either.

Re: Skins Viks Postgame
Moss is short, has a tendency to drop the occasional ball. But he's a vet. And he's come thru for us in the clutch many times before. I feel more comfortable relying on him to catch the ball in that end zone situation than anybody else except Reed. Remember what Tana did in Dallas last season? (hankerson should be our go-to-guy there, if he can ever catch fire. )
Please let Haslett go end of this season. If we get a Burns like replacement next season, keep trying to fill the DC position every year until we get someone good. And we need more youth (FA, other teams practice squad signings) on a D that's failing regardless of coaching. What's wrong with Morris being DC? Last edited by HailGreen28; 11-08-2013 at 09:18 AM. |

Re: Skins Viks Postgame
And what about ST and D? They also need to do their part, I'm more worried about this than RGIII.

Re: Skins Viks Postgame
As good as the offense and Griff was tonight, they didn't do shit the 2nd half. I thought Griff really looked like professional QB tonight. Why not throw some balls downfield? I almost think Kyle calls plays to simply move the chains.

Re: Skins Viks Postgame
Fire Haslett. Start bringing in warm bodies off everybody else's practice squads. The Defense blows. Has for practically all of Haslett's tenure. Don't blame him for the first couple years in the 3-4 switch. But now? No excuse.

Re: Skins Viks Postgame
Well, we did have a cap penalty and spent a huge chunk of our draft on our offensive star. There are excuses, but I agree that even so they have under preformed. I am so disappointed that some of these younger late round draft picks and the like just haven't developed.

The cap penalty is far more damaging than the draft picks, but then again, it's all Redskins chickens coming home to roost from past bad decisions and being in position for the league to bend them over for it.

Re: Skins Viks Postgame
The last playcall was a fine concept, but they threw to Moss in man to man out of the slot. That's really, really inexcusable. Moss hasn't beaten man to man all season, I have no clue why we would expect him to win on that play.

Re: Skins Viks Postgame
Pretty much. If you're going to throw against man, that's the guy who gets it done. Moss even being on the field there is a personnel failure of some sort (either bad player usage or not enough good receivers, depending on your perspective).

Re: Skins Viks Postgame
It's been the theme of the season, they can't put it together for all 4 quarters and the D doesn't give the offense much room for error.
