Re: Romo Complains About Redskins Defense

He basically cusses the guy out the whole game and now he blames us? Funny Romo didn't hear us call out signals. Like it's already been said, nobody else was jumping. What a crock of s**t. There's other ways to take up for your center instead of accusing the other team of some BS like this. Typical Cowgirl.

Re: Romo Complains About Redskins Defense

I read yesterday that the NFL reviewed the tapes from the centers headset and could not find hard proof that this happened.

The name that was mentioned was Bowen. Jason Hatcher and Bowen are very good friends and Bowen told Hatcher that he was NOT calling out the snap count, but he also went on to say that he believes that one of the Redskins Linebackers was doing it "on occassion".

Phil Costa has since backed off his unfounded claims and accepts full responsibility for the bad snaps.

And Romo has nothing to complain about...they won the game. Who really cares if you come out on the winning end anyway? You go back to the practice field and fix that before the next weeks game.

It was a couple of Twitter Posts from the DMN:

Just to clarify, Hatcher and Bowen are close friends. Bowen called Hatch Wednesday and said he absolutely did not call out Romo's cadences.

Bowen's claiming it was a Skins linebacker who may have been throwing off the young Costa. I will continue to monitor this situation.

Forgot to tell you that Jason Hatcher told me Skins DE Stephen Bowen DID NOT call out cadences to force Phil Costa into all those wild snaps
In the article below (which I actually got from WARPATH), Costa admits that it WAS NOT Bowen calling out the snaps.

Redskins' Bowen unloads on Dallas center

Re: Romo Complains About Redskins Defense

He needs to be thanking God that he survived the Redskins defense.

We missed a great opportunity to inflict a TON of pain.

Romo ran out of the shotgun and fired the ball out of there immediately almost every play...he was fearing for his life obviously.

If he was dropping back with that patchwork offensive line, we would have easily ended his night.

Those shotgun snaps provided some great entertainment too.
Gotta credit Garrett for the gameplan...get the ball out of Romo's hands ASAP before he gets killed.

Jackson flattened him pretty good, which makes me believe Orakpo when he said his injury was more hype than reality. A guy with bad ribs would have really been hurting after that shot.

Re: Romo Complains About Redskins Defense

He laid down for a while when he WAS hit. His face showed pain too. I don't deny that he was really hurting. Fletcher and Kerrigan got shots in too. I only remember those 3 good hits on him, I was disappointed. As I said, good gameplan.

Re: Romo Complains About Redskins Defense

on PTI wilbon was intimating that perhaps it was romo who was off on the snaps b/c the entire dallas O line moved at the same time of the snaps and they showed 2 video clips of 2 of the bad snaps where indeed the entire dallas O line moved at the same time.

But my question is, how could costa not tell whether it was skins linebacker calling the snap count or romo who was in shotgun behind him? at home? how could the skins know their snap count for certain plays?

PTI showed video clips of 2 of the bad snaps and the dallas o line def all moved at the same time.

Reminds of when we played the bills or somebody 3-4 years ago where our offense was saying they oppossing D were calling out the plays before the skins snapped the ball.

idk im sure anyone can go look at videos of the bad snaps to see for themselves, im not going to bother.

I used to respect you. Now, I suggest that you STFU and come to grips to the little fact that the centers were mic'd up and that if any incriminating evidence is produced, the punishment will come swiftly.

I think that's what he's saying, is that there's no evidence, so no proof.
