Hate much?

What does he do to you personally to warrant so much distaste?

I almost called it.

Never heard of the winner before yesterday though!

That was probably the best round of golf I've ever watched, at least since the Tiger - Rocco playoff at the 2008 US Open...but this one involved about 10 guys coming down to the end...was crazy.

I thought McIlroy had it locked up with a 4-stroke lead going into the last round. Poor guy. He's only 21 though, he'll have plenty of wins...unless this sends him into a mental hospital.

I don't hate TW but the way he talks down to the guys that interview him after his rounds just sucks. The person is just trying to do their job and TW acts like a prick. The announcer will make one of those questions/statements and TW will reply with something like this. "Are you kidding me did you see my round".

I was pulling for Tiger to win, everybody needs a little redemption. I have never been much of a Tiger fan, I perfer Lefty but I want Tiger to win again, golf is a better sport when Tiger is playing well IMO.

Re: The Masters "A Tradition Like None Other"

It was nice to see Tiger get his groove back, but watching Rory McIlroy just completely implode on the back 9 was hurtful. He's got the tools, just needs the mental game. That tee shot on 10 looked like something I'd do (between 2 houses way left, although I would have been that way right). He'll be back. Very eerie that he shot 80 on Day 2 of the Open Championship and 80 on Sunday at Augusta.

While it was nice to get Tiger stay in the hunt, it was also nice to watch those 5-8 golfers play the way they did down the stretch, and have Schwartzel just light up the course and shoot 66 on the final day when it was all on the line.

My boss knew someone whos family was one of the people who had "season tickets" to the Masters or whatever you call them. They donate them to a charity fund rasing event one year....

The people who won the tickets get drunk (and who wouldnt with those beer prices!) and take a piss in the bushes and get caught. HUGE deal at Augusta. The people who pissed are permanently banned from ever returning. The people who donated their tickets nearly got banned.

I sign up for practice round tickets every year. Just the way they do things are old school. There practice round ticket list could easily be automated on line but you have to mail it in and fill out the form each year (its easier the second time around). But either way you know they are employing a lot of people and people are spending a lot of time going through the submissions each year. Theres a box on top of the list that says how many tickets do you want (i think the max is 4). Every year im like i should just put 3 so maybe i get a left over batch of tickets. But i always go for 4 and i have never won the tickets.
