Good to see they're trying to reduce the distractions. What a joke.

I'd rather leave a spot on a Dallas Cheerleader...
...sorry I know, kind of crude. I felt compelled to finish the pattern though.

I just don't see this being good TV. I can't see it having more than one season. Bad idea all the way around. Realty sports shows are called "game day".

Wasn't this already done with the Eagles? I thought the movie, Invincible, was based on this true story.

Re: Survivor NFL: Win a spot on the Dallas Cowboys!
And this in from Troy Aikman:
Aikman: Romo hasn't 'fully grasped' being 'Boys QB by FOXSports.com Troy Aikman, who does color commentary for NFL on FOX broadcasts, called out quarterback Tony Romo in a radio interview Tuesday for some questionable actions and comments during the young QB's career. "I think maybe things happened so quickly for Tony in terms of obscurity to all of a sudden national spotlight that he hasn't fully grasped what being the Cowboys quarterback is all about," Aikman said to former teammate Michael Irvin, who hosts a radio show on ESPN Radio. "And you don't go to Cabo the week before a playoff game. You just don't do it. "It didn't take away from his preparations. I know that. I mean, everything he says is I think accurate. I don't think that had any bearing. But to say, 'I don't worry about perception,' you better worry about perception, because it's a big part of making it through some very difficult times." Romo went on a vacation with singer and girlfriend Jessica Simpson during the Cowboys' bye week during the playoffs last season. Dallas lost to the eventual Super-Bowl champion Giants. Romo ended three weeks of silence Wednesday night..."I'm definitely going to take a more active approach with that as we move forward..." yada, yada, yada...zzzzzzzz. |

What's funny about this to me is how many Cowboys fans are on his bandwagon as if he is the best thing since Troy Aikman. Do these people not realize that he has been on the Cowboys roster for, what, 7 years now? If he hasn't figured out what it means to be a starting QB in this league at this point, he never will. |

That being said, one of my best friends is a die-hard Cowboys fan from DC. When I ask him why he's a Cowboys fan, he says it's because he wanted to be against everyone else. Everyone around him was a Redskins fan growing up & that is simply his personality. He has never jumped on or off simply because they were winning or losing. He is also one of the most knowledgeable football fans that I know...& as a Cowboys fan, he HATES Romo. |
