Re: The Super Bowl Thread

My wishful thinking prediction:

Broncos 37
Seattle 23

I hope Manning lights up Sherman for 3 of those TDs.

Re: The Super Bowl Thread

Manning MVP, and then he will announce he is retiring, leaving folks to wonder whether anyone in the history of sport has ever gone out like this. Setting single season records for yards, TDs, winning the Superbowl, and being the Superbowl MVP would be impossible to top.

Wonder what it is like having a QB like that. I hope we find out starting in September and that RGIII plays with the biggest chip ever.

Re: The Super Bowl Thread

Pulling for my boy R Wilson. Seattle defense holds denver to 17 points and Denver's secondary allows Wilson to throw for 287 yards and two TDs while running for one and 87 yards. Beat mode throws in 2 TDs of his own for a 28-17 Seattle victory. Russell Wilson MVP.

Marshawn Lynch and the Seattle D get no respect apparently.

What section did your son get you into at the big game? You've done a fine job raising that boy.

Re: The Super Bowl Thread

Sherman doesn't have a lot of class (his post-game rant was just silly), but there's no denying the talent. This video impressed me -- wish our secondary had some of this: Darrelle Revis: Richard Sherman all 'me, me, me, me' - NFL.com

Re: The Super Bowl Thread

I think it will be a close, hard fought game, but Denver just has too many weapons.

Manning wins MVP and comes back next year to go for the repeat.
