Re: Redskins Vs Chargers Postgame

People saying SD let us off the hook with the playcalling on the GL. I say we let them off the hook with our playcalling when it was 3rd and 3 with 2:02 left

I'm tempted to say we didn't deserve that win, but in the interest of good smilings with many happiness, I'll say it was a hard-fought W. Hail 'em!

Agreed. If they got that call right, we would have won in regulation.

They would have had to call it a fumble on the field.

Total gut-check win. That's the type of thing you build off of. We beat the Vikings this week, I think we really could go on a roll. Truly, we outplayed the shit out of the Chargers all day and our own ineptitude made it seem closer than it should have been. GREAT win.

Re: Redskins Vs Chargers Postgame

Insane day at the stadium. Met Kedric, Kai, Kyle, Kory, Chester, Rob Slowik, Larry Michael, Sonny (he doesn't sign autographs is what he said after many years of failed attempts to apply ink to my sweatshirt), Eric Wright, Brandon Flowers, LAVAR !!!, Bostic, Gary Clark, Mark Mosley, Ken Harvey, ALFRED, Pierre, Royster, Raleigh McKenzie, who else.. got up close to Doug Williams and jacoby.

Amazing day. Lost my voice. Too many Charger fans in attendance. minimal traffic home and didn't spend too much. Couldn't ask for more. Except the Vikings to beat the 'Boys.

My game ball goes to myself for avoiding the gameday thread, because I know there was some stupid going on in there.

Shameless self-promotion. It is what it is.

Re: Redskins Vs Chargers Postgame

Garçon was amazing today. One of the best performances we've seen by a Skins WR in a really long time.

I haven't been the biggest fan of Garcon, but today he was worth every penny the Skins payed him. Reed and Garcon to me are the only reliable pass catchers.

Gaffney would have done better.
