Y! SPORTS

It's a huge circus in Tampa Bay, and I'd be shocked if Schiano is still standing come next off-season. Not saying it was him, but leaking the player's medical status is beyond unethical and illegal.

Y! SPORTS

Another gem from around the league.

Quote:
The officer asked Kosar if he had any problems that would prevent him from standing on one leg or walking and turning, and Kosar said he's had several surgeries on his knees and ankles because his line couldn't block, the report said.

I give Greg Schiano til the end of the year before he gets his walking papers. His hard ass approach just isn't going to fly in the NFL. Plus now with this stuff about Freeman? Another college coach bites the dust.

I think there's room for tough coaches in the NFL, but Schiano is just an asshole. He's definitely digging his own grave.

He's making Rex Ryan look good.

If he can bring the defensive success he had with the Ravens, would love to have him as DC.

I know his style as HC, but I don't recall any drama as a coordinator.

Re: Around the NFL Week 5

No one who had to deal with Schiano while he was at Rutgers is all that surprised by this. That said, if he really did leak the Freeman info then that's way worse than just being an ass to people

Re: Around the NFL Week 5

Adding Rex to completely take over the defensive staff, if he were to come available, would take this team to being a top team. I don't believe it would happen, but adding Rex to our current staff could be a recipe for success.

Re: Around the NFL Week 5

I guess the Glazer family thought that after Morris they needed a hard ass for a coach. I can't imagine that Schiano was the best guy out there. Now they have a mess on their hands.

Re: Around the NFL Week 5

I would have to agree on the Schiano views. That guy is digging his own grave.

If it can be proved that he actually leaked a players medical history does the NFLPA and the player have any legal actions available to them?

This really shows how strong our defense is. Peyton Manning better expect the same inevitable demotion after we play him in a few weeks.

Still I won't be surprised if he coaches for a long time.

Re: Around the NFL Week 5

well, norv is WAY worse as a HC then rex, and he was a HC for a billion years, so rex sticking around a while wouldn't be a huge surprise. I mean, if norv could keep finding jobs...
