Re: 3/18 @4pm NFL Free Agency & Trading Period
Agree, I'd Like us to get Boston, but if Bradberry isn't too expensive I'd still bring him in. We can't fill all the gaps in one off-season, but if we get Young, a 2nd TE (assuming we can sign Hooper or Henry) WR and OL depth in the draft, then we need a FS and CB in FA too.

Falcons to let Austin Hooper and De’Vondre Campbell test free agency Hooper to officially hit the market. Also, Devondre Campbell is an under the radar OLB Free Agent if we were looking to upgrade. On Dan Patrick show, Per McLovin heard the Cowboys were letting Byron Jones CB hit the market

Re: 3/18 @4pm NFL Free Agency & Trading Period
1. Byron Jones (best CB available and still young)
2. Hooper (should be cheaper than Henry) 3. Re-sign both G's. 4. Re-Sign Dunbar 5. Tre Boston I think you can sign all of these guys and immediately make big strides in the division. Some will say Jones is too expensive but he's a long athletic CB like Dunbar that can cover any WR.. Fuller is a slot guy at best, we already have that in Fabian and Moreland

Re: 3/18 @4pm NFL Free Agency & Trading Period
Per Spotrac, Hooper’s projected market value in 2020 is a yearly salary of approximately $9.9 million. Based on his recent performance coupled with the current tight end market, Spotrac has Hooper signing something similar to a five-year, 49.9 million contract next season. The Bears could absolutely swing that, especially after their recent roster moves.

https://overthecap.com/position/tight-end/ 10M for Jimmy Graham is the top AAV for a TE. market seems weird, only 3 making more than 9M AAV, 6 making 8M AAV or more .. but they are all older. Henry and Hooper are 25. I dont think you can use a 34 year old Jimmy G, or 31 year old Kelce, Ertz, Rudolph etc as comparables. Dang, the TE market may take a huge jump with two 25 old year players entering FA with teams in demand (assuming Henry makes FA). --------------------- Legit may take 13M or so to get one these two. Looking at the age of the other top tier TEs and the fact that both of these two can block and catch .... FA is going to be crazy this year.

WOW
Kevin Sheehan reporting from sources: Skins will target 3 high profile Free Agents IF they become available: 1. Austin Hooper - Obvious 2. Kenyan Drake - WTF....I like the guy but why bring back AP. Or even draft Love last year? 3. Amari Cooper - Makes sense

I’d like us to take care of our guys as well and like to know the Oline plan with so many questions there before you give several huge deal for skill players.

I didn't even consider of Drake when thinking about Redskins' (or mine) FA wish list.. It's tough to figure out Drake - Drake didn't do much with Miami beside a few great games (alot of this is because of coach Gase) and then did fantastic job with Arizona except for a couple of games where he didn't do anything. Because Redskins do not have a reliable RB who can make big plays, I can understand why they are looking into Drake. I wouldn't be upset if we sign Drake although I wonder if this would mean we will cut Peterson or perhaps Bryce Love. Or keep 4 RBs on the roster. |
