Forget the cuts, who is our starting RB verses the Saints in 10 days? No I'm kidding that's a discussion for this time next week. Bring it on Smooty! Tell us who we are losing.

You are not the only one. I cringe when he starts but we could do much worse in terms of a reserve.

Banks, Doughty, Kehl, Willie Smith, Terrence Austin, Jordan Black and Cedric Griffin. Those guys need to go.

I think Kehl has been very solid. Good special teams player, energy guy who could play in passing down packages. I think him and Alexander would make outstanding depth at ILB.

Never seen fans so eager for a career back up/special teams player to be cut.

Sent from my Samsung Galaxy SIII using Tapatalk 2.

You say backup, but our backups tend to end up starting due to injury at some point. I just think there's gotta be a better option. But maybe not.

I like Doughty's game over Madieu Williams's but, what do I know? Skins will pickup a center off waivers I suppose.

Re: Official Redskins Final Cuts Thread

I don't understand why people hate Reed so much. He's a career back up and teams player. Every single NFL team has players like Reed. Fundametally he's probably our best tackler. He can play very well in the box and isn't afraid to stick his nose in the action. I like Reed and hope he stays around for the simple fact that he KNOWS how to tackle.

Re: Official Redskins Final Cuts Thread

Reed is not bad when asked to stop the run or rush the QB, but when asked to cover a WR he's got to be one of the worst cover guys. Teams picked up on this. If he was close to the line the would either send the guy he was covering out for a pass (usually the RB), or watch to see if he backed off then run the ball.
