Re: Potential GM/HC/Coaches Thread
The league is offense 1st and we're drafting a QB in the 1st round. I just don't prefer a defense 1st coach for what we need. We need to get someone here that can grow w/ our drafted QB. A defense first guy may be run the ball and play defense. So many of them are wired that way. You gotta score points, the rules lean heavily towards scoring, get Ben Johnson because he is ready. He is getting the most out of an average QB. He will put an emphasis on an oline. The Lions score points w/ that average QB that McVay did not want. Get it done. It ain't that hard. He will bring the absolute best out of the QB.

Re: Potential GM/HC/Coaches Thread
I guarantee that if we win, it won't be because of anything RR did.

Re: Potential GM/HC/Coaches Thread
We’re not winning, Dallas could have 5+ turnovers and they’d still probably win

Re: Potential GM/HC/Coaches Thread
Please let it be true:
NEWS: The #Commanders are expected to be targeting #Ravens head of scouting, Joe Hortiz, and defensive coordinator, Mike Macdonald to be their next GM and HC, per the WaPo, via general managers. “It’s not going to be a retread,” according to a longtime league executive.

Here's an exciting fact about Mike MacDonald: "Graduated summa cum laude with a finance degree from Georgia's Terry College of Business in 2010...Earned his master's degree in sports management from Georgia in 2013, while serving as safeties and defensive quality control coach for the Bulldogs. Note: Sorry about all the bolding I did. I find this prospect to be very exciting! |

Re: Potential GM/HC/Coaches Thread
We're going to speak Macdonald into existence. We're just going to raid the whole Baltimore franchise. Washington Marauders.

Re: Potential GM/HC/Coaches Thread
I know next to nothing about M. Macdonald. If this turns out to be true, who would be the likely OC candidates he would bring in? Both sides need repair...
