Re: The Most Fresh & Cordial Political Thread Ever

History of toilet paper is so .. human. 1800s people wouldnt dare acknowledge that they pooped so no one would talk about it.

We would take newspapers in the toilet to wipe. Or sticks or cloth or moss or communal sponges on ends of sticks.

Then a newspaper started adding just empty pages.

Two brothers (Scott) started selling toilet paper on rolls in stores but everyone was too embarrassed to be seen buying them. So no one bough them.

Hotels started placing toilet paper rolls in their lobby bathrooms and suddenly everyone just so happened to need to take a poop when near a hotel lobby.

Flush toilets were starting to be introduced as well and the thicker newspaper would clog the pipes so as flush toilets became a household item .. so did the thinner softer toilet paper roll.

------------

beautiful human vanity to it all

To embarrassed to acknowledge that one poops .. so we all walked around with dingleberries and shit stained underwear.

I am all for talking about pooping but if I am spending 5 years it is going to be on a TP that kills crabs when you use a public toilet not wavy perforations.

Did you listen to the most recent Ben Shapiro podcast? His exact take

Whether it’s Fetterman outfit issue…Bowman purposely pulling fire alarms…or the Gaetz/ gop funding bill nonsense

We aren’t sending our best

Re: The Most Fresh & Cordial Political Thread Ever

I am not a fan of McCarthy however that being said I would prefer having a congress that will actually work to passing a spending bill for the 2 million civilian workers instead of the BS that is going to happen. I don't know what the Democrats end game was here. They missed a golden opportunity to say they are supporting a congress that will get things done instead of throwing it to chaos. On the republican side Gaetz will be disappointed when he sees that a 14 year old girl isn't going to be elected speaker.

My guess, the Dems want to watch the republican's implode. kinda like the divide and conquer thing. You never know they might vote for Jordan and all the sex abuse shit will start up again about when he was a wrestling Coach.
