I still have faith in him, let's wait till he gets in a game and see how he performs. Last year he started rough, but got better and held his own against 4 great pass rushers in Andre Carter, Pierre Paul, Jared Allen and Trent Cole.

I'm high on Tyler Polumbus. He had a decent year last year. If he indeed is named the official starter if Jammal Brown misses time due to that hip injury that will never heal, then Polumbus should be the starter at right tackle.

I agree. Our line should basically sort out as follows

LT - Trent Williams
LG - Kory L/LeRibeus (pending Kory's health)
C- Montgomery
RG - Chester
RT - Polumbus

That's actually not a bad lineup. We have a top ten left tackle and that makes everyone on the line better.

I llike to see a breakdown or preliminary depth chart as to who's getting reps at which position and with which team on the OL. I'm fine knowing that the best (healthy) player will play but, I'm not clear where LeRibeus, Gettis, and Compton fit in. Maybe it's still too early tell.

I bet we would have went hard for RT if we had no sanctions on the cap, but at least Shannahan realizes how we need help so every cut ends up in us bringing in a new tackle. At least he knows its an issue. My bet is that we will get a tackle next year in the second or third round.

Reports have surfaced that Tyler Polumbus and Willie Smith have been inconsistent at training camp playing right tackle. The Redskins need assurance and insurance at this position. The team should sacrifice a 2nd or 3rd round draft selection for Ravens T Michael Oher. But unfortunately for us, Baltimore would never make that trade.
