Denver was going to score a.lot anyway. Key is for us to keep manning on the sideline

Well that's disappointing. I would say I hope Gumbs and Rambo are ready, but I have the feeling Manning is going to manuever them all over the field with his eyes tomorrow.

we had low end starting safeties, and now they'll both be on the bench against peyton.... great.

Sux, never thought I'd miss reed from the starting lineup. When we get scrilla next year we gotta invest in a free safety and corner to replace Wilson, shit I want d hall back if he wanna ball

Same here but Doughty has come along way from the Archuleta clone he used to be. Could play the box but not the pass. He's become pretty damn solid and plays the pass better than in the past. Probably still not starting material but someone who can play 2nd string and not worry too much about.

"And S" got me lol.

I think Orakpo and the guys up can beat up Denver's OL but how you touch a QB that releases in 2-3 seconds and not tip off where the blitz it coming? Haslett often is blatantly obvious at times.
I worry about Fletcher covering Thomas and any WR dragging across the middle.

You should worry. The great London Fletcher has my undying respect but he can no longer cover. I think it would be a good idea for the Skins to use a 5th DB in place of Fletcher a lot in this game.

I wish there was a way to get Jackson on the field more and spell in Barnett but I guess London still gives us the best chance.

Re: Redskins vs Broncos Pre Game Thread

I know our strengths, and our weaknesses...that being said, I have a good feeling about this one. If we can play the same style of offense we did last week, we can keep up offensively. I think this is the week that everyone (aside from fellow skins fans...HAIL!) understands that we ARE for real.......win or lose.

Re: Redskins vs Broncos Pre Game Thread

Too many WRs to cover today. Lets hope they make mistakes on offense, and our offense is firing on all cylinders.

You never know..

Re: Redskins vs Broncos Pre Game Thread

It will come down to red zone defense, our ability to run the ball and score TD's. I don't see us pulling this one out, but maybe we get moral victory like the cowboys did. Lol.
