Youch. Sounds like a freak injury...landed from a jump and tore both knees...I was expecting some gruesome blind hit that bent his knees the wrong way, but he just jumped and landed wrong.

Both players are out of the NFL now lmao.. although I can't laugh much because I actually thought they were decent draft picks. Kelly had a ton of potential as did dt.. sometimes u just get snakebit

In all seriousness, best of luck to DT on his next venture mentoring kids and giving back to his community.

Is he really doing that? Because if he is, I certainly can't hate on that.

If you even sniff a training camp invite; you are a elite football player. I am sure he has plenty to pass on.

Here is a thought maybe he can coach up a kid to the point that he gets a college scholarship. Just because you don't make it on the NFL doesn't mean you are a bad football player.

Oh I forgot 2 things:
VCerrato the reason of the 49ers success and even the reason they won super bowls before he even worked for team.
DThomas, able to carry his team thru the season and into the super bowl all on his back.

just because he's a crappy player doesn't mean he's a crappy person.

Not sure why all the personal attacks on DT. Like a lot of wr's that get drafted high, he didn't pan out. I didn't see any Brandon Lloyd in him.

Because a lot of guys on here act like teenage girls and when a player doesn't pan out they way they envisioned them to they treat them like the boy that didn't ask them to the prom.

In simpler terms their panties get all bunched up.

Re: Around the NFL...Training Camp Style

Yeah I've certainly been a DT hater in the past, and I assumed when he retired it was probably so he can sit around the house and eat grapes lavishly all day, but if he's turned a new a leaf and is retiring to help kids achieve their goals there's certainly nothing to hate on about that.
