Sad.

The gummies and elixir kinda worry me bc like the elixir is a normal looking bottle with "cherry lime" on it, it tastes good but if you drink that 100 mg bottle .. you are not going to have a fun time.

edibles and elixir I buy from dispensary can be a pain to open with child locks. Sometimes you gotta get a screw driver to pry open.

Things to look for in these articles ... was it bought through a regulated dispensary or street? Here seems odd she sd she bought it from some random store but its delta 8 not delta 9 (typical weed)

Not sure how felony murder fits here. Death needs to be in commission or furtherance of a felony.

Delta 8 is legal to purchase off shelves in VA.

delta 8 has been my go to for a while, so many good d8 products out there, all legal and can be shipped right to your door. It's like the light beer of the weed world, you can catch a nice easy buzz and still function without getting toasted.

Funny coming to this thread again and it's me saying how it's funny to think about doing edibles. Now I'm even older and I'm thinking about trying them out.

I need to lose some weight, so trying to reduce drinking to as close to zero amount as possible at least in the near future.

But it would be nice to have an alternative after one of those long days or lazy weekend days.

All the ones I was reading about was Delta 9. Not really sure of the difference between 8 and 9.

How many MG's of THC are the gummies you usually use?

Main difference is Delta 8 isn’t as strong as 9.

If you’re just starting out I’d go with 25mg, wait an hour and see how you feel. Gummies can hit pretty hard if you overdo it. Worst case though you take a nap.

Just beware of the munchies, have healthy snacks on hand.

Thanks for the info. The ones I was looking at (that I can buy here in person) were 30 MGs. I'll definitely start out with 1 the 1st time. And maybe get some carrot/celery sticks.

It's probably because I don't use marijuana myself, but it's funny thinking about a bunch of people my age or older smoking weed, eating edibles, etc.

Note - I'm all for it. To each their own! It's no worse than my drinking, or anything else. Just funny imo.

It is a bit weird. I was in Time Square at midnight a few months ago and people just walk around selling pre rolled joints. its midnight, time square and these 2 old old ladies, proper looking mid west grandmas ... are sitting there chiefing this huge probably 1 g joint.

it was weird.

Something that blew me away. Family movie night a few weeks ago, wanted to watch something scary but not too gorey for the 10 year old.

Poltergeist, everybody remembers Poltergeist .. only rated PG?

In the beginning of the movie, parents put the kids down and then go back to their bedroom and the dad nonchalantly just starts rolling a joint. Then the mom and dad just sit there talking smoking a joint. Kids come in, they snuff the joint out and dad picks up the kid and "airplanes" her back to their bedroom.



I dont remember that .. me and my lady were pinching each other when it came on like WTF but my 10 year old didnt notice and we surmised we didnt remember bc we didnt notice when we saw it as kids.

It was cool to see bc the fact the parents casually rolled a joint and relaxed at night wasnt even the focal point of the scene, it was just casual background.

I saw a movie and one of the main characters was gay .. but the fact he was gay wasnt the focal point of the movie at all, he just happened to be gay which I thought was so cool bc usually if a character is gay in a movie then the movie is about the gay in some way.

I did a similar thing sdskinsfan, I don't have a federal clearance anymore so I have no need to concern myself with any issues related to switching from beer to Delta-9. I take 15mg gummies, sometimes 1.5 or 2, but generally take half at a time. My motivation was also weight loss and hangover avoidance. As I get older, I tend to get mild hangovers, but it's much more frequent than when I was young. Nothing comparable as it pertains to my Delta 9 gummies.

I also find that I crave different food after a gummy than when I'm drunk. I doordash less fried chicken sandwiches at night and tend to crave more sweets. I still don't have much of a sweet tooth, so I don't eat a ton, but I imagine that helps my waistline as well.

I didn't take the guy's advice on Sunday, and bit off a little more than I could chew, literally. They were out of the gummies, so I had to get the cereal bars. They are way stronger and harder to measure.

Man, it was full effort to stay awake for the game Sunday lol. That stuff works. I was as calm as I've ever been in my life during a football game. Need to take some of that tonight.
