Re: 2012 NFL Uniform Thread - Nike takes over

Seattle is using "12th Man" inside their collars.

Bruce Allen actually leaked ours in February...missed that.

We're using "Team Effort Tradition".

Nike to add team slogans on inside collar for every NFL team: What will 49ers’ jersey say? | But at the end of the day…

Quote:
Each team will have their slogan imprinted on the inside collar of their jerseys. Redskins GM Bruce Allen revealed that ”Team Effort Tradition” will be on his team’s jerseys.

I think we should make a revision and change it to "F...Goodell".

Why not "Hail to the Redskins"?

Apparently not everyone got in on the changes

That was a really thorough video. I wonder if I got one of the new Skins jerseys if it would repel beer and chicken wing sauce.

I really hope we get to see the alternate jerseys before the season starts.

I really don't see the big deal about new jerseys or alternative jerseys. I mean it is nothing more than a sales gimmick to spark interest and get folks to part with their money for more stuff they don't need. I mean we already have alternative uniforms, the two retro ones they have worn in the recent past, the yellow helmets with the script R and the maroon jerseys and helmets with the spearhead on it. I admit it was cool for a bit, but then it just became too much. At least the Skins' retro stuff wasn't as ugly as Pittsburgh's or the Pack's.

For ours, I dunno where there is not to like.. Other than the stripe on the pants and the cleats it seems like they're almost identical to our old ones. Some people like to nitpick I guess?

i know at least one person said they didn't like them, but they didn't offer any reason as to why

I think proper warpath phrase is "hatters gone hatte"

Replica jerseys...not liking the cut of the lower-priced one.

Agreed. It looks like a t-shirt or a golf shirt without the collar. My RGIII jersey is going to take some getting used to.
