Every military death is awful. But when it happens during training exercises, for whatever reason, it sucks more (imo). But training is absolutely necessary, so there is not really a way to prevent these things from happening.

5 military members just died in a crash, and the oldest was only 33. He was the son of the baseball player Steve Sax. Doesn't make his death any more important, just a name I grew up hearing on a regular basis.

Hearing the stories about the prejudice he and his family faced while he played in Boston, plus his career on top of that? Legend. 1 of 1, there will never be another like him. RIP.
