Re: Jayden Daniels - Commanders QB Thread

I have a feeling game 4 or 5 will see JD start to click in the passing game. I can't see it happening against the Bengals, though MNF might be the time to see if he has that 'it' factor...

Daniels has played well so far. Not a huge fan of the running a lot, but know it's just the qb he is. He certainly has the legs for it. Agree the more games he plays, the better passing we'll see. Really like how he's protected the ball. Impressive. MNF @ Cincy will be tough. I could see them overlooking us.

watching the eagles again last night, that secondary isn’t right in coverage.

Hoping Saints crush them Sunday and then Tampa the following game. Sirianni's seat would be quite warm then. Honestly think he needs to make NFC title game to keep his job next year.

Chico, your Kool-aid got some lean in it.
That sample size is too small.

We have a better punter than the Eagles, that's about all we have over them right now.

We have a better coach and most likely a better qb.

I can't agree with you that Daniels may be a better QB right now than Hurts. He might be at some point down the road but he has a lot of development to go before he gets to be on Hurts level.

Hurts is the least of Philly's problems. To put it simply, their offense is too old and their defense is too young.

Re: Jayden Daniels - Commanders QB Thread

They are 0-2 with two AFC losses. 0-3 after losing on national television to a team with a brand new everything would pretty much be a nail in their coffin. They don't have the luxury to overlook anyone at this point.

True but still think they may underestimate us and a rookie qb. Interested to see how JD plays in primetime. Cincy may be especially pissed with the way they lost at KC. Would be ecstatic to win this game.

Yeah, I can't buy into the idea that JD = JH at this point. JD appears to have the potential to be good, maybe even great. However, I think we'll need more than two regular season games to make that determination.

Baldy Breakdown on Daniels from Week 2 versus Giants. There's some good stuff here: https://x.com/BaldyNFL/status/183653...J-sVlbUkg&s=19

I didn't say at this point, but I do think he has the better qb ceiling than Hurts.

No, I know, you didn't specify. But, I hope you end up being right.
