*Maybe Gruden was right...Haskins wasn't ready and Guice was better.

Re: Skins vs Jets Game Thread
Or the Tackle. Id be happy with either one. Honestly Manusky leaving is a bigger upgrade for the defense than any player could be. Guice McLaurin and Haskins need protection. Haskins rollout pass that got called back was a thing of beauty. This team has thrown in the towel. Hope the new staff is a solid one. |

Re: Skins vs Jets Game Thread
Sweat is another Preston Smith. Mooreland is not very intelligent. Im not that down on Haskins yet. That long pass on the roll out was so beautiful. I think a real coaching staff can do wonders for him. Manusky leaving certainly helps the D. How that guy is not embarrassed into retiring is beyond me. Alot of overpaid garbage to get rid of in the off season. Gonna be a long rebuilding process. Again.

That first half was an embarrassment. How do you come out that unprepared after a bye week? It’s staggering imo.

Re: Skins vs Jets Game Thread
Sweat has been a HUGE disappointment, hes basically a non factor and was a 1St round guy they moved up to get.
Kerrigan has 3 sacks all yr, time to move on from him and Norman. I'd also try my hardest to move Collins who is not very good either. Haskins shows flashes here and there. Guice is good but he's not reliable Sent from my SM-G950U using Tapatalk

Norman can go suck an eggg. Collins ain't going anywhere with that albatross of a contract. Watching Jamal Adams ball out today reminds me of what kind of safety 84 million should buy though. Guice is good, his whole career has basically been 2 major injuries up to this point. He has the rest of the year to prove those injuries are flukes, because you can't build around injury-prone guys. Haskins is a work-in-progress. I think people want instant results because they see rookies succeeding nowadays, but they forget there are plenty of quality qb's in the league today that took more than a year to get there. |

Re: Skins vs Jets Game Thread
Our expectations for Haskins are so low that whenever he makes a play we think there's hope. The reality is he wasn't very good. He was John Beck for most of the day.
I can't wait for Manusky to be gone. I guess they decided they were going to pass on covering some no name TE. That was embarrassing. Norman might as well go put on his dancing tights cause he doesn't resemble a football player. Bench him. No more AP. Guice has more burst and can catch the ball. |

Really can’t tell if It is Haskins or the terrible o line, terrible terrible play calling, and really just lack of talent around him. He makes plays sometimes that other people just cannot make. His arm is lethal. It isn’t like when he completes an easy pass we see hope, it is when he hits McLaurin (even though it came back on a bullshit hold) rolling out and has such beautiful touch that we see hope. Im not giving up on Haskins yet. No way. He will be our starter next season so get behind him. Ya got no choice. Lol. There are certain players on this team and an entire staff that need to be sent packing. Than we can address the future. This is nothing more than giving a very inexperienced quarterback with an absolutely lethal arm some playing time. If he is who we hope he is, than this experience will be invaluable next year. |

It really is the big question. Take it a step further. If one does will they be left alone to do their job and build their team? Take that a step further too. Will the fan base come back to Fedex? I mean it was a sea of green today. I was in the bathroom at one point and heard cheering so loud I thought wow what did we do? It was Jets fans. Snyder must just be used to it and doesn’t give a shit. It was fucking embarrassing. |
