He was actually there yesterday and I hear it went really well. He's likely to get a contract offer from them. But I hear he also has a pending offer from the Skins

I hope we can keep him...versatile player and our new ST beast. He's our new Khary Campbell.

Looks like Orton is staying put...

"Kevin Negandhi
Just on @SportsCenter: @AdamSchefter says the Broncos are not going to trade Kyle Orton."

Re: 2011 NFL Free Agency-Part 3

I've heard the gap between Orton and Tebow has been so wide at training camp that Brady Quinn is actually being penciled in as the #2 QB in Denver right now. Still early though

Orton is clearly their best option right now. Tebow needs more time.

He needs a new position, not more time. The guy was never a NFL caliber QB.

I would not be surprised to see Tebow in B&G next year. I am aware of his challenges, but would support the move. Hunch.

Re: 2011 NFL Free Agency-Part 3

I'm not a huge Tebow fan (as a QB) but I don't think he's the type of player who is going to excel or impress anyone in structured drills. He's more of a player who you just let run around and make plays.

Orton will be the starter but I think the team will be struggling so much that they'll swap him out for Tebow before year's end and he'll stay there for the remainder of the year and possibly going into next year. They gave a 1st-round pick for him and he needs to eventually be thrown into the fire to see if he's worth hanging onto.

Orton is clearly better, but for the sake of the future of the franchise, they need to make a decision on Tebow and either move on with him, or without him. I think they tried to do this, but couldn't get what they wanted for Orton.

Orton could still be traded. Who knows, if Beck struggles too much or is hurt...maybe we'll try to get him, but I think we'd just hand it over to Grossman and I'd be OK with that for a year. We need a longer-term solution if Beck is not the man though.

Re: 2011 NFL Free Agency-Part 3

I head McKinnie was 360. If he wasn't so old, I'd say give him a backup spot. Too bad Big Mike Williams hasn't been able to make it all the way back...looked promising for a while.

Anyways...another Dallas Cowboy left Dallas...not that Alex Barron was any good:

He can join JaMarcus Russell in the All-TIme FATTIES football team. JarMarcus plays center and Mt. McKinnie plays nose.

Or they can hold a competition to see how many Big Macs they can down in 10 minutes.

Ha, even more news. He failed his physical. LOL
