I'm dumbfounded at the oline's lousy play so far this year. That unit has health, continuity going for it and is surrounded by talent. The pass protection has been abysmal. Even the run blocking has seriously regressed from last year. With smaller guys I don't expect them to dominate the LOS, but this year we're not even getting the stretch per the ZBS. Our guys look small, slow and lazy. WTF?

And Paul has no business being on the field apart from special teams.

Thats true, but that goes both ways
If Rg3 was on another team there wouldnt be the love for him that is flowing around here

and just because a few of us think Wilson is good doesnt mean we cant like RG3 too,its got nothing to do with him.

It was you who said 'cant believe people still doubt RG3" before the first game expecting him to come out and play like he hasnt missed a beat
Now everyones saying "cant believe people expected Rg3 to play well after knee surgery"
He's playing just how I expected him to play

^look at the real estate to the outside. If he is blocked by Paul, the receiver could have blocked down and sealed the end. Folks that's the difference between a possible td and a 4 yard loss. Fred is our best blocking te, with oline shaky thus far, time to get him back on the field

You'd think Fred would be playing lights out this season because of his contract. What gives?

Re: We won!!!!!!!!!! (Redskins vs. Raiders Post Game Thread)

People complain of our OL play and sometimes with good reason.

But last year RGIII had defenses moving back from the LOS due to his dual threat. This year teams have pressured forward because they don't respect his legs. As RGIII look more like his old self, defenses will move back again.

Sum: as RGIII gets more comfortable, both the running game and pass protection will improve.

I'm with you, but RG3 won't always have that skill to rely on will he? I'm more anxious to see him gain the skill of making quick reads than I am with him regaining his legs.

Michael Vick is still a threat on the ground, and he's 33.

I'm not sure I would be satisfied if he has Vicks career. Would you?

Nah, if he has to take two years off due to a prison sentence and a year long suspension I would definitely not be happy.

Re: We won!!!!!!!!!! (Redskins vs. Raiders Post Game Thread)

The RO and play action off it simply gave the OLine a split second advantage last year that they aren't getting this one. Credit MS/KS last year for finding a way to make a mediocre line look good. At the same time, however, they need to find a way to beat a D that is, essentially, pinning its ears back and attacking the LOS. Not sure how they do that, but then I don't make the big bucks.

Coaching staff probably fallin in love with Reed playmaking ability. Which is great, you can rotate and have both on the field.

But Reed cant block worth a sh*t. And Paul looks like he's still learning the position going on year two.

Fred been injured but will be available for Dallas. Time to use him or continue to expect plays like that above.
