Re: The Most Fresh & Cordial Political Thread Ever
I wish more politicians actually voted their conscience, instead of going along to get along.
I haven't been following this closely, as I have no allegiance to McCarthy. So I don't know if people not voting for him are doing it for the right reasons or not. But if they genuinely do not believe that McCarthy should be speaker, then good on them. If I was a politician, the front page of my website would explain why I voted yes/no on anything that got called for a vote. And it would be me that typed it out myself. That would be the focus of my website so voters can get a clear explanation on my personal vote.

Re: The Most Fresh & Cordial Political Thread Ever
Not only that, but they are wanting Kevin to throw out certain Dems on committees. That shit isn't going to fly, because as soon as the GOP lose the house again, the Dems will strip any GOP they want from a committee assignment. I imagine Kevin isn't going to sign on to something like that.

Re: The Most Fresh & Cordial Political Thread Ever
I think the brilliant part here is being played by the Democrats. They are sitting back letting the GOP really ruin their own image. It's not like they can go back home and blame the Dems for this shit. This is squarely on the GOP. What a clown show. Even Hannity is saying it is.

Re: The Most Fresh & Cordial Political Thread Ever
This must be unprecedented. Didn't really register until seeing a clip of Maxine Waters being upset she actually had to work, that democrats have to keep voting too, for house speaker. I hope this goes to 100 attempts.

You consider this work for congress? I am surprised you are enjoying this. I thought you would be annoyed about politicians sitting around getting paid doing nothing for the country.
