Its the owners at this point i think. The owners make it easy to place blame on one side now at this point....Let them sit out then. Let's see how long their money lasts when there is NO REVENUE coming in.

Im miffed with the sport so extremely strong in a down economy where revenues are just astronomical they cant come to an agreement. Sometimes I dont think Goodell, the owners and the players realize that got things so good when alot of people are struggling so bad. They really need to tighten up, its ridiculous.

Still more on the owners side, (basically they took a bad deal rather than fight it tooth and nail in 2006, and I give them a few small kudos on that). Of course in the end, it's more "not the players side"(this batch of players has made oodles more than Clark, Monk, Green ever could have imagined. They could back off a step and still be handsomely paid for their gifts and talents) then pro-owners. They both need to stop and get a deal done, and clearly neither side is doing that today. |
