You don’t see a deeper divide since Trump came along? 90% of his base never used the word liberal before him, and still have no idea what one is.

What are you talking about. 90% of his base probably used the term "Liberal" weekly and some daily. Nothing is wrong being called a liberal unless your liberal and do not believe in what you say you stand for.

What I meant was that 90% of his base who I consider to be mostly the dregs of society - mostly - never spoke of politics in their life. Suddenly now liberal is a four letter word to them.

The hypocrisy of Matthew Gaetz.

^^^ Gaetz March 4, 2020

Gaetz was spotted riding on Air Force One on Monday as he learned the news. White House officials said when Gaetz learned he was in proximity to the man with coronavirus at CPAC, he sat by himself in a section of the president's plane.

^^^ Gaetz March 9, 2020

.... that escalated bigly.

I have personally known a couple germophobes and worked with a few others.
One guy was a trip, when I handed him his paycheck on Friday he would always take it with a hand wrapped in a shop rag. He would spray all his tools with disinfectant before putting them away. The guy was out sick just as much as everyone else. Same with all the others, all their precautions did not seem to matter much.

He wasnt doing it for that .... he was doing it to mock and belittle the response to the Coronavirus as being overblown and out of proportion.

The gas mask just brought back a memory as the guy I mentioned wore his motorcycle helmet walking in and out of the building during shift change because of the large crowds at the guard shack.

Re: The hypocrisy of the ________

I've never wished harm or death on a Republican, I also have good friends from both sides of the aisle.

Sorry BB but it's just ridiculous to paint people with a broad brush because you happen to know a few people that think a certain way.

I'll put this one here.......................

Trump Offers Lie After Lie Under Lincoln’s Unblinking Gaze

https://www.yahoo.com/news/trump-off...022637099.html

Even by President Donald Trump’s historically low standards, the town hall on reopening the nation’s economy featured some astounding falsehoods on Sunday night: that he was never warned about the novel coronavirus until late January; that all 43,000 people who returned to the United States from China after the implementation of his travel ban were tested; that the American people will have a vaccine by Christmas.

But perhaps the biggest demonstrable lie told under the unblinking eyes of Abraham Lincoln was Trump’s repeated insistence that, despite the mounting death toll from the coronavirus pandemic and the collapsing national economy, “it’s all working out.”

“I think it’s all working out. You know, the numbers are heading in the right direction,” Trump said, in response to a question about workers at meat processing plants being forced back on the job despite fears of spreading the virus. “It’s all working out. It’s all working out. It’s horrible that we have to go through it, but it’s all working out.”

“They always said Lincoln, nobody got treated worse than Lincoln,” Trump said. “I believe I am treated worse.”

In the days since Trump meanderingly suggested that Americans might be able to cure themselves of COVID-19 by injecting either sunlight or disinfectant into their bodies, the White House has attempted to shift the focus of its coronavirus response from public health to an economic message.

But as question after question came in from across the country about the specifics of Trump’s response to a pandemic that has effectively shuttered the national economy, Trump primarily responded with boasts about past accomplishments, mini-tirades about past grievances, or generalities about how the nation will “win bigger than we’ve ever won before” once the crisis abates.

“You’re gonna get a job where you’re gonna get more money, frankly,” Trump told a single mom in Alabama who said she was facing eviction and struggled to pay even the smallest bills. “I’ve got a great feel for this stuff.”

he is seriously a buffoon!

Re: The hypocrisy of the ________

Prius drivers.

Look, I get it. It’s pretty cool you can drive around and have that big dashboard thing live tracking your miles per gallon. It’s like a video game trying to get to your destination averaging more than 35 miles per gallon. Coast down hills and towards red lights, only use the gas pedal when absolutely needed.

I get it. I rented a Prius once and it was pretty cool trying to score the highest mpg I could. If I had a fleet of 4 cars, one would probably be a Prius.

But get the fuck out of the left lane with your coasting, tepid use of the gas pedal, going the speed limit in the fast lane bullshit. I will ride your fucking ass with my middle finger up. I will go 55 mph right next to you mouthing the words “fuck you and die slow bitch”.

So please get the fuck out of the fast lane if you are playing the “how many miles can I get per gallon” game.
